Celebrities on The Raven?
Published (2009-11-23 21:38:00)
How do you define who constitutes a celebrity? Few people in America, for example, would consider Asian/Indian stars to be celebrated. And in the end, who gives a damn?

Check out this rather cool retro Raiders poster. I can highly recommend checking out the rest of this artist\'s work as he\'s done many other movie posters in the same style ... http://strongstuff.deviantart.com/ar...ster-144700 866 Enjoy, Tim

A quick (late ) heads-up on some deals on some Indy LEGO loot (for those of us in the US, anyway): First, Target stores have restocked set #7627: Temple of the Crystal Skull in anticipation of Black Friday. Currently it\'s $89.99, a full $10 over MSRP, but after the holiday it\'ll be on sale for $49.99, a good $30 savings (but just for two days, and in-store only - not online). If you\'d like ...

That\'s right, I did it. Bring it on. Is the Theory of Evolution "just a theory" and total nonsense? Or is it practically a scientific fact that should be taught in all public schools? Discuss. This should be interesting.

Apparently you can see the new Episode I footage of CGI Yoda during the US leg of Star Was in Concert. If you can't get to it, check your local PBS station for The Making of Star Wars in Concert for a brief look.
The program states that it " premiered" in the US.

Hello all,
Hoping for your collective help. I have been trying to find the promo for young indiana jones that shipped on the VHS copies of Indian Jones that was given out at mcdonalds. It was a lot better than the stuff I can find on youtube but b/c of its uniqueness I can't find it anywhere.

The greatest horror film ever. No need to say more... How much do you know about the film? The cast? The story? What are you memories of seeing this for the first time? Lee J Cobb, Max von Sydow, what great roles they played! Father Lankester Merrin an Archaeologist, (hmmm)

I was skimming KOTCS yesterday, watching what I consider to be the good parts, and started wondering: is Indy ever called Indiana or Indy by anyone? Mac calls him Jonesy, the dean and Ox call him Henry, Mutt calls him old man, professor, daddy-o. Spalko calls him Jones. Marion is the only one who might call him Indy.
Anyone know? Or do I have to watch it all over again?
(Yeah, I know...

This weekend, I went with my Korean girlfriend to Busan. All day, I couldn\'t help but notice how often she checked her phone for messages, answered calls, and the like. I made a comment to her about it holding the key to her life. She laughed at the time, but it was a different story later on in the evening. We had a few drinks, she was more than slightly tipsy, and after singing karaoke we did ...

I wonder what her specific achievements were, or if she could have done anything except discoveries in parapsychology.

I went to the New Moon midnight show with my girlfriend who loves the series. I saw the first one with her and enjoyed it and accepted it for what it is... a chick flick.
I give New Moon 2 1/2 out of 4. I loved the werewolves and the fight scenes are pretty cool. The story was good and involved a love triangle which I do not like in movies. Kristen Stewart is still a terrible actress but ...

I first saw all of them upon their original theatrical releases, so I saw them in release order (and first watched The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles during its original run, between the releases of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull , naturally). I did experience many of the books, comics, games, etc. much later than their initial ...

Dooooooode! I was fortunite enough to see an early test screening of shrek 4 last weekend and let me tell you guys, it was awesome!
most people felt that the series was going downhill with the 3rd. but this one has used a unique storyline and fresh ideas to return to the magic of the origonal. Personally I felt it was the best shrek film yet!
