HAPPY NEW YEAR - January 1, 2008 It's a new year and time to start a new MilAir thread. The last one was stuffed and overflowing. I'm going to start this thread with a review of my aerial refueling frequencies contained in my scan rotation. If anyone has anything additional or notices something I've missed from the refueling world, please add those freqs here - assuming they're within ...

Looks like Virginia is already getting ready for it. Hearing Virginia EOC (155.895) active with and without PL (91.5) and maybe a patch to STARS. I don't have STARS programmed into my radio now but I should later today. Should be an interesting test of the system. I'm located in downtown Richmond, by the way.

Hi Folks, As many of you know, with the addition of our second child and my wife staying home, my existing "command post" which was crafted in the play room of our house was lost to my wife and children, and I was banned to the bottom guest bedroom to build my office. Here are the pictures and descriptions: Below is the overall setup. I now have only two computers, a desktop ...

Thats what I'd like to know. I can scan 800 MHz motorola no problem with the Pro-164 I just got yesterday. But EDACS is a different story since the manual does next to nothing in the explanation department. I have an 800 EDACS system in Camden City, NJ. Programmed all the freqs in a frequency bank IN LCN ORDER!! But was surprised the scanner did not ask me to provide the LCN number. ...

bc 350 c scanner...which is a conventional radio. So which antenna does larsen make that would be good to mount on the back of the scanner for substantial gain...is that antenna that gives 2.5db gain from scannermaster any good?...or is it better to buy a larsen all the way?

I'm coming down to Ocean City this weekend and just wondering if the VHF Simulcast is still active as I all I have with me is my trusty Dual Band HT. I did see it on Radioreference Database and already know what frequencies I need, but just trying to confirm if it is still active Thanks

I m currently involved in a project where i stumbled upon a design challenge whose solution i urgently needed. I need to design a transceiver which use a single antenna for transmission as well as reception. To avoid interference i may use different carrier frequency for transmission and reception. My received signal after demodulation will be a pure sine wave. I required to generate a ...
