Can't log in to orbit

QUOTE (Tomy Durden @ Nov 24 2009, 11:41 PM) Unfortunately, customer service and our development group are the only group with access to reset passwords. Can you PM me your account number and I'll create a ticket to have our development group take a look at the situation? Thanks Tomy. Although I stress the point that resetting the password isn't the issue, the issue is changing the password once it's been reset.

QUOTE (Nargule @ Nov 24 2009, 01:31 PM) I forgot my password for orbit, so I clicked the "forgot password" link and received a temporary password via email. When I use the emailed temporary password, I'm prompted to change my password. So I do. But the change doesn't take effect. So I'm stuck in a loop: 1) login with temporary password. 2) prompted to set new password. 3) I enter a new...

I'm experiencing this error as well--and so, it seems, are others: http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=96273 ThePlanet has worked on it, and the last word from them is that they are escalating to Parallels. My question: what happens to the control panel if this issue isn't resolved? Is there anything I need to do to prepare for loss of functionality?

Published (2009-11-23 10:54:00)
Our credit card processing company requires that we meet PCI compliance in order to continue accept credit cards and personal information through our website (no complaint there). They just ran a scan this weekend and, although there is nothing major to correct, I do have a few questions and would appreciate any advice you can provide in rectifying them. First of all, we're currently running PHP v5.2.9 and they say it has known flaws and...

It's been an issue with the licence server for a couple of days now. Parallels don't seem particularly bothered nowdays so don't hold your breath for a rapid fix from them At worst case scenario, your sites will continue to be hosted without any loss of functionality - the control panel however will be inaccessible for both yourself and your clients

IPv6 Support to end customers

Two months later .. is there any additional information on this ? it's really starting to get to the point of stupidity now. I've been running 6to4 tunnels now for the better part of 3 years, been promised that 'ipv6 was coming shortly' about two years ago and then been told 'soon' every time i have asked about it. as I've said over and over, I REALLY would like to implement this BEFORE its too late, already...

QUOTE (Sovjohn @ Jan 4 2009, 12:00 PM) Hello there, I am interested in reselling ThePlanet's servers to my customers. Sadly, your webpage does not provide that many details about this. I do not expect my customers to be so technologically educated so that they could order servers directly from you (and thus I could use the Affiliate program), so I am considering reselling servers ...

CJ is more reputable as far as I know, but ShareASale is pretty big as well. No matter what affiliate program your promoting, there will always be that risk of not getting paid. The only true way to know is if you are in touch with each person whom sales and ask them to forward you a copy of their receipt for something in exchange.

The Ensim website is accessible now from here, although it's not unknown for it to go up and down occasionally. I would however recommend upgrading to the latest version as not only does it resolve a number of bugs, but iwll also ensure that teh control panel is contacting the Parallels licence server correctly as your version will be using a URL based on the Ensim domain name, which is ...

Greetings: You should be able to upgrade to PHP 5.2.11 (if you want to stay on the PHP 5.2 branch) or PHP 5.3.1. Google can be a friend when it comes to tracking down how to's. See http://www.google.com/search?q=Apache+how+...le+tr ace+method for the trace issue. See http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Apache+weak+c iphers for the weak cipher (SSL) issue. Thank you....
