Hi Folks, Again, pre-Xmas clearout time from me and have very reluctantly decided to sell my Trini Lopez re-issue guitar. I got this earlier on this year and I really have enjoyed this guitar I have to say. That said, needs must just now and to be honest, with the lack of a band/ gig just now, it's just too nice a guitar to have not getting used or have that amount of cash tied up in something not being used. I've now got it on Ebay...

I was in a shop today looking at a possible trade-in against a new Firebird and they said it was definitely a £1300plus guitar... they were offering a good deal less on trade in though! Available here for a good bit less too. Come on... you know you want it! :>)

there were 50 of some ashdown combo amp made as a trial run a few years ago
i recall but i thought they were under the hayden brand, there was a thread
on here but it might have been before the board changed to yuku so it might
not show up in the archives

afaik the gt1 is a gto and gtl combined, both are develpments of the original 70's gt, check out the owner reviews section there is quite a lot of info in
there, including some soundclips

depends on the matamp. we have a gt1, he's kind of the amp who needs a certain fuzz. the EHX Big Muff just sounded awful infront of the amp.
but we have also a v28, that takes every pedal super well. no matter what, everything sounds just fine. i think the v28 is very close to the 1224 when it comes
to pedals,
because its a brighter amp with more highs and a clearer sound.

Hey I've got a GT4, basically inside it's built on a modified littleorck PCB, if you open it up there are some tracks cut /components changed. It's
built on the little orck chassis (so they are indeed about the same size )
The Bass Boost switch on the GT4 works the same as the bigger GTs or a Voice switch. i.e. furthest to the left most bass as you move it to the right you get
less.. it ...

I know that tone well, what your hearing there is a Dumble clone, and no matamp will get that sound... i've tried. Matamps have a very stiff/hard clean
sound whereas the Fender/Dumble clone has a very soft saggy sound.I can get close to that Mayer tone with a Fender Twin, but i can nail it with my MJW /Ceriatone HRM 50
