So would I but I am going stir crazy at home. I need to work or I'll go insane so it's now going to be a one hour and 40 minute journey to work instead on 40 minutes But some of it will be with my headphones on. I can even put some Star Trek on my iPod

Maybe what Spock emerged from is a one way kind of thing. You enter at one point and exit at another, but can't go the other way around.

The Warp Engine in Archer's time was a Warp Five, I guess this means the Alterverse in STAR TREK 09 is not the same universe that ENTERPRISE takes place in.

Wow! That's a great story idea. I hate losing Pike, though. I'd hope he'd hang around for at least two more movies as a father figure to Captain Kirk, but as Cylons would say, "The parent must go on in order for the child to become an adult." ...Or something like that.

Yeah, Berman had stayed on Trek too long. All sorts of stuff have been coming to light recently about how Berman disapproved of this idea or that idea--and went with something that was worse, IMO. I don't see how highly implausible clones were any better than a time travel story about paths not taken...
