I can't do cut n' pastes from this computer (if someone wants to add the story, that'd be great - it's everywhere), but there are stories out that former KU players are speaking out about about Mark Mangino was "mean" to them...he called them names, insulted them, and hurt their feelings, and now that they're done at the school they're going to whine about it. Thoughts on this? I guess you can...

Oh Goodell, what a joke you are. Maybe if your refs weren't so ****ty, Morris wouldn't have been cursing off at them. I also love how he only fined Mike Smith $15,000 for yelling, grabbing, and elbowing players, and Morris yells a few things at the refs and he gets fined more. Edit- Can we add this smile to the smile list because I am sure it would get a lot of use with all the crap this clown does.

If our defense gets 3 interceptions or more (which is very possible between Talib and T-Jack) And if Freeman/WRs have a good day, then we can beat them. Provided Freeman doesn't fumble or drop the ball and throws it away when he needs to.

He was signed for Jagz. Jagz was a run heavy and well kind of guy. Then Olson came in... Olson is from the school of Gruden, who believes in a one back system if he can have it. And he's been using Grudens boy Caddy for that one back. Ward just isn't getting enough carries to make enough plays. Sad, since he's such a strong back. We may not see Carnell next year so the Ward signing may end up paying off after all. You'll see.

I played Madden 09 more than any other madden in the past (not more than 2k5), but I must say that I was quite impressed and the game seemed to get much more realistic after a couple online updates.
I hope they continue this trend with Madden 10.

Just a lot of negotiating tactics.......I think they'll work it out at the last minute, like always. Just a tough environment with the economy right now.
What ticks me off is the Vikings got a sweet offer from Anoka county, on the north end of the Twin Cities and the Wilfs backed out.
It'll get done.....The U of M got a new football stadium this year and the Twins new stadium opens next...

I'm not too concerned about him, honestly. His college film was garbage and I figured he'd continue his errors in the pros, but he's been surprisingly good. Just give him more starts, a better rapport with his targets and a better understanding of the offense. Basically, give him time. I think he'll be a solid starter for the foreseeable future (how weird is that to say for a QB in Tampa?)....
