I'm not sure how many neighborhoods there are like that anymore - where even a basic supermarket is completely out of reach. Think about your current city, Baltimore: how many neighborhoods can you think of where there are are literally no stores selling fresh food? I haven't lived in B-more in almost a decade, but I can't think of many off-hand - maybe some of those tough spots off of Biddle Street in East Baltimore or some of...

Nice. I love to look at snow when I'm not the one who needs boots. If you'd like, I can tell Nate how to get a boy. It's fun for all involved, but you need a net.

And what about the editors, publishers, and executives? The ones who actually make the decisions of editorial slant? Surveys show they tend to support Republican presidents like Bush vs. Gore at a 3-to-1 margin.

Another hoax - reported to be from PRAVD. American Capitalism Gone With A Whimper It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American descent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people. True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years... The initial testing grounds was...

at SOJ calling posts ''flames'' that are nothing of the sort. What a snivelling coward.

Killing mercenaries in a military ambush is not ''murder.'' Then punching a known terrorist durring apprehension is not "assault." And I noticed you flew right over the whole "mutilation" issue. Nice.

What a poor ass analogy.
They teach American History to kids younger than that and always have.
Jeez.

True but it looks like it was shot in San Francisco. The parents were
probably all Democrats any-way. So yes it is disturbing and the teachers
and head-teacher should be fired but then again thankfully it will not make
a difference.

There's a chance that I've fallen quite hard over you

I want to come too

Yesterday, I wore one of my Rancid T-Shirts. No... not the smell, the band.
My usual work 'uniform' consists of jeans (or occasionally khakis) and a T-shirt with at least half of my shirts being band shirts or other music
related garb, i.e. instrument and music gear company logos, etc. Most of the rest of my t-shirts are comics related with a smattering of movie oriented stuff
as well. I ...

I'm learning a lot of stuff here, but I need to; I know very little about preparing food. I copied this to my hard drive.
How about a thread on how to make gravy? My mom taught my wife how to make gravy over 40 years ago, but she took the recipe with her when she passed away.

Michigan doesn't really strike me as all that liberal.
Regardless, I personally don't find this surprising. She clearly has a very loyal following.
This morning, I caught the tail-end of a discussion on NPR about Palin's political future - basically trying to predict if she would run for national
office in the future. From what I caught of the discussion, she hasn't really been laying ...

Economists have been saying for at least a month now that the Democrat-caused recession is over. This is more proof of it.
The Democrats intentionally destroyed consumer confidence so that they could get more Democrats, including Obama, elected. Bunghole's post shows that
consumer confidence is coming back.
I wonder if the liberals will be doing their gloom-and-doom predictions again this...

If there is, you can keep it. I like things simple. Human food is a lot like cat food; the fancier it is, the more expensive it is, the more expensive it is,
the nastier it is. I'll have a ribeye, medium rare with fries, thank you very much.

A funny, but irreverant bit. However, I often wonder why Africa is the ONLY
continent where mothers sit around watching the flies eat the faces off
their babies and doing nothing about their conditions. Instead of sending
them food, which only makes them reproduce more, how about we go and teach
them some caucasian culture and how to grow their OWN food.

This is about as close to being ex-communicated as you can get. I guess the Bishop is saying that you can't hold anti-Catholic views and still call
yourself a Catholic.
What would be the point, really, of trying to remain catholic if you don't share the views and beliefs of catholics? It's like being a
member of PETA and not trying to give your family guilt trips at the Thanksgiving table...
