for split ends I've heard of people using catnip. There's a thread on that. But for general maintenance and to strengthen your hair, try using some herbal hair treatments, like either henna (but it dyes red tones), or cassia obovata (so you don't really get color results, unless you have grey hair or blond tones). Those should really help fight against split ends. I wouldnt recommend you add any EO's to your hair straight...

Certainly try it out. But if its looks don't please you, and if you don't like the way it feels or works in your hair --- mostly, if you are not happy with it --- then don't be afraid to send it back for a full refund. I've sent items back before (to other businesses, not this one) with no problem whatsoever. Businesses who want MORE business are always very willing to please the customer....

Mine's my own hair. I chose it because I liked the way it looked and it was the perfect shape for plopping a big G-for- Gumball letter in the middle of it. I also think rose buns look spiffy. That was quite some length ago, too. Fortunately I'm not the type of person who needs to change an avatar a lot, so I'm readily identifiable by it as well.

Who trims your hair? There have been a few threads over in the Mane forum lately about trims (it's that time of year!), and I was wondering how the stats pan out for LHC members on how many self-trim, have someone close to them trim it, or go to a salon, and why, really. I self-trim, I've had one too many bad salon experiences....

I don't worry about the winter season woes and worries! Even it's cold, I'm always patient on my hair! I don't fret about it! I live all season's! If there is split ends, I just do S&D, oilings, and washing my hair carefully in the shower, and especially doing my hair in ponytail and putting my hair up! My hair is always on the almost sexy librarian type of hair to almost formal hair , ...

Well, you could see it as a compliment. And then not answer them. Part of being on the boards is opening yourself up to random people approaching you. It's up to you then, to decide what their intentions are and whether you are interested. Men never hit on me. I think they are too scared to.

I'm probably about 6 inches to waist. My hair is wavy, so it seems longer some days and shorter others, depending on how wavy it is that day (the more recently washed, the more wavy and therefore shorter.) I'm having a "short hair day" today.

'Cetyl alcohol and Stearyl alcohol belong to a group known as fatty alcohols. These are different in composition and nature from ethanol, the form of alcohol we drink, and what pretty much everyone thinks of when the word 'alcohol' is mentioned. Cetyl and Stearyl alcohols are actually emollients (lubricators and mositurisers) derived from fats and oils, and will not dry your hair like ethanol ...
