Viewed by millions, comedian Sarah Silverman's humorous, profanity-strewn plea for young Jews to persuade their grandparents to vote for Barack Obama is an Internet sensation. Can it turn laughs into votes in swing states like Florida? The project called "The Great Schlep" the Yiddish word means to move with effort or drag oneself formally launched over the weekend, though the video has ...

John McCain is at odds with many of his top advisers over launching a renewed attack on Barack Obama's ties to his long-time pastor and mentor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, according to campaign sources. Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and several top campaign officials see a sharp attack on Wright as the best — and perhaps last — chance to rattle Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill. ) and force voters to rethink...

Barack, Bill, and Me The Bill Ayers that Barack Obama and I worked with was no "domestic terrorist." That Barack Obama and William Ayers knew each other during the 1990s may tell us something about the two men. But it says much more about a particular time and place: Hyde Park, Chicago, more than a decade ago. Obama first moved to Chicago in 1985, when he worked as a community ...

Every poll I've seen this week has Obama winning by at least 300, and the numbers keep rising. I know its too soon yet, but things sure are looking up.

Hours after a married congressman addressed a report that he had an affair with a former aide and paid her to keep quiet about it, details of a purported tryst with a second woman surfaced. Though Democratic U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney did not directly mention allegations first reported by ABC News that he had been involved with the former aide, he issued a statement apologizing to his family but ...

How do you Obama supporters feel about this Obama wanting to take away the right of people to have a private vote when deciding whether to unionize? I don't see how this helps the middle class, especially when their freedoms are restricted. CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive - Fact Check: Would Obama ‘take away right’ to secret ballot for unions? « - Blogs ...

REV. JESSE JACKSON PREDICTS CHANGE IN U.S. FOREIGN POLICY WITH OBAMA - New York Post The most important change would occur in the Middle East, where "decades of putting Israel's interests first" would end. Jackson believes that, although "Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades" remain strong, they'll lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the ...

So about her speech last night. Most everybody thinks she did an amazing job for never having talked in front of that large an audience before. I switched between PBS, CNN, Fox and MSNBC after her speech to see what people were saying and pretty much everyone said she pulled it off brilliantly even though they might have disagreed with some of her statements. Now it comes out that her ...

That's pretty bad, but I'm not surprised. My parents believe Obama is the anti-christ; that's the talk of their church group. People get scared that he's a terrorist, communist, muslim, the anti-christ... It's pretty sad.
