Kick It was the first song from Street Angel to really grab me as well . It's just good, straightforward rock and roll. I believe the song to be about comparing unhealthy relationships to other addictions... and how she needs to kick the habit of whichever relationship she was in at the time. There was no Houston concert on Nov. 27. Only on Nov. 28 at what was once called The Summit. I was at that show.
