Well said Serge. Kate takes these things very personally. Over the years she has distanced herself from the forum, and doesn't deserve the present criticism. Peter _________________ The Languedoc Page

I stopped posting on the AD forum because of people like you and Roger, so as you appear to be getting nasty and attempting to drag everyone down to your level you can have this thread all to yourself .............. I am really not that interested any more _________________ About that 'Sports' section .................

I feel sorry for Kate with her veins, but hell its only cosmetic, nothing major! I think its wrong that Oliver should cry Wolf and imply that its because of posts being critical to AD, this was a long standing intervention. I see that the Owl has locked the AD post to prevent discussion, like Nulabour, must be a Scots thing to do to prevent dissent. _________________ Gremlin

Hi Magnhild Just back form the Christmas Fayre at Chateau Cassan. Husband got talking to a chap who runs a computer repair firm. He says he is mainly working with PCs, but does sometimes work with Macs. I am not, of course, recommending him from experience; only from talking to him. However, his details are: Aveyron Computer Services Adam Sunderland Sales, repair, tuition, virus removal English speaking computer services covering .... incl....

Near Anduze, in the heart of a village with lots of character with fabulous views to the Cevennes mountains and vineyards - a lovely home with a surface area of 140m2. It has 3 bedrooms, a living / dining room and kitchen facing onto a terrace, bathroom, shower room and 2 WCs. There is also a ground floor ready for renovation with it's own terrace. In the village of MASSILLARGUES-ATTUECH, in the foothills of the Cevennes where you can go...

Is that a condender for having the last word or just words of wisdom from the Master of the Spoon? As I've said before, I really hope you have not joined this forum to stir up things like you did on AD although looking at what you've posted so far it doesn't look very hopeful _________________ Jonathan www.domainetreloar.com

Or, for those who don't like rocks, you could head towards the PO. There's a Christmas Fair with great sticky cakes and mince pies. Of course this is promoted with the FAB PO group but the money made will be passed to a Cancer charity. You might even get to take a taste of Santiago's best. Tomorrow you can bring whatever name you want to use. You will be welcome. http://www.fab-po.com/acatalog/In_the_news.html Blackduff ~ see...

Ey oop, lad, there's those of us in England can only dream of fibre-optic connection. I live within the M25 and the fastest speed I have ever recorded on broadband (via my BT line) is 500 kps. I pay for 2 Mg, but my copper wire is inadequate. Eeh, what wouldn't I do for fibre-optic . . . ? B _________________ One day . . . we'll be there www.atthefrenchhouse.com

I saw this earlier and shook my head in disbelief. After his initial pathetic rant he admits that he didn't see it in the 'jokes section' and now blames it on a problem with the forum layout. I noted another post where he continued to argue with a TV professional and again refused to admit that he was wrong over some minor issue. This guy never seems to admit to a mistake. He makes himself look...

Hi Magnihild
I keyed in, on Google, as a matter of interest: "informatique+beziers" and also "informatique+cessenon" and plenty of links came up.

Hello, there is some information on Béziers and surrounding area here.
Near to the coast, good rail, road links etc. Local airport. Not too far to Perpignan.

It might be worth looking at American Express world travel cover.
I used them for a 4 month US trip from Belgium, but then bought the annual cover every year for a number of years. Never had to claim, so can't help with a view on that.

Hello everyone! I posted this question in another forum, but still don't have a response. Maybe someone here can help?
About 2 months ago we finished our renovation/moved into our flat in center of Beziers. As it is a very old building we tried to save/maintain all the old features in the flat, including the original tiles, which we at first thought would be a beautiful addition to our...

If I were you I'd subscribe to e-mail notifications from a number of online rental sites. Very often "particulier" landlords, ie, ones not affiliated with agencies, advertise there. It's up to you to convince them that you're a good risk.
I've listed a number of these several times here; a search should turn this information up.
