Best Squad for Playoffs?
Published (2009-11-21 17:47:00)
QUOTE (wizmander @ 11/19/09 1:17pm) Durant might not play this week due to a concussion, the linebacker on that list who is playing really well is Paul Posluszny, and every team pounds the rock on Buffalo which means alot of action- Also I like Tyvon Branch, hes having a MONSTER season, I have him on my squad. Since Poz missed 4 games due to injury many people seem to not realize that he is the #4 overall LB in PPG...just 1.7...

With Thursday games, the free agents are locked. I think they need to be opened up with the exception of the players that played on Thursday. I looked in the rules and it didn't state when they would be locked. The injury report does not come out until Friday, so it really sucks when you find a player that is going to be out and his back-up is available, but the rosters are locked....

QUOTE (Riffraff @ 8/23/09 6:14pm) Looks like a fun one to watch. Didn't see another topic posted about it. My son and I watched the animated series together, and are really looking forward to the live-action movie. The series had some fantastic writing!

Glad that you were able to pull it together to keep the league intact this year. I miss playing, but happy with my decision to sit up the season this year. The extra time at work and with the family has been good. Hope you guys are all doing well!

I say keep pumping troops in without a plan or equipment. If I was Bin Laden, I would have walked far away from Afghanistan in 8 years.

Well sure unions cost more, because they have to figure in their donation to the Democrats. This shouldn't be surprising. Look at the states suffering the hardest, the majority of them have a large union presence and voted were blue states last year.

QUOTE (gilthorp @ 11/15/09 11:40pm) How arrogant must you be to do what New England did tonight? Seriously? The only other pompous coach who would have gone for it like that is the big dough boy at Notre Dame. Amazing. That call was so ballsy it had pubic hair all over it.

QUOTE (Grits and Shins @ 11/17/09 5:32am) Almost every ex-coach in the sports media won't come out and say that BB made a bone head call. They all (even Gruden) want to make excuses for him and then finish up by saying 'I would have punted the ball'. Geez guys have a sac and man up ... either say it was a bone head call or say you support it .. none of this wish washy crap He ...

The same thing happened in the Eagles / Cowboys game. The receiver bobbled the ball and didn't get forward progress. The Head of Officiating went over the rule on the NFL Network.
