I've probably got about $600 worth of silver in dollar and 50 cent pieces. I've acquired these over several years just because, but I still think ammo and the weapons to use it is a better bet. I guess it obviously depends on how bad things get doesn't it.

The way I've always looked at it, is that it's not an "either/or" but rather a multi-tiered question: "Money" is good for a stable, intact capitalistic free market society. Precious metal is good for extreme inflation but society is still generally intact. Ammo is good when all of the above no longer applies.

I need to buy one, we have a neighbor down the road that plays (and leaves it on even if he's not around) his radio way too loud at times. I figure if a few golfers in the area blasted his radio out of his garage he might start keeping the door closed and the music down...

"IF" a real M4 it's a SBR (if not a select fire), you might want to check that. Drew Peterson recently was arrested for such a violation and some police do get semi types with the 14.5 inch barrel.
