Water hookup in parking garage
Published (2009-11-25 22:59:00)
If you decide to get the water from ground level, the hose will expand and flex. This is damping the water flow. You need to get at least a 2 inch hose. HOWEVER there are other ways. dry stand pipe. You can hook into this pipe without any permits, at least here in California on a private parking garage. You MUST drain the line to remove rust. I called you but it went to voice mail feel free to call me if I can help Jim@GarageCleaning.Net...

Steel Eagle has more than one make of swivel. You will need to contact them if you do not know which swivel you have.

We aren't in business to remove the chalk. That's a restoration service that requires high concentrated ph cleaners, loads of brushing, and loads of high pressure. Softwashing is a way to clean up a structure and not screw with the chalky oxidized surface below. But to think you can remove the oxidation with soft washing methods - that's crazy.

As Extreme Seal Inc we are professionals, we drive a $55.000 dollar truck and equipment, so we would charge a min of $0.75 cts a square ft, and on a sunny day we could do the job,one day lets say 5 hours of cleaning and second day maybe two hours to seal it with simix solutions concrete sealer that has a 7 year warranty not to grow no mold or mildew,at $020 cts cost ,how much profit is that again...

That hydrant may not work. It could be the kind that is only activated when the Alarm goes off(I'm hitting a blank what they call that. You could probably turn it on now but it will just let out the water in the pipes and then it runs dry...unless of course its alarm activated.
I just did a parking garage and we looked into those and even opened around 4 of them and they all ran out of water ...

Tom and Barbra Vogel of ACR are the best I have ever done business with. From trucking, software, and now wood restoration, they are both my chem/stain supplier, and equipment maintenance/distributor. We would not be in business without them.
Aside from that, Barb is an official wood minx. Stand in line fellas, one misstep from Tom and she's mine! Hah!
Seriously, ACR's spring ...

We do 22 undergrounds a season. And can assure you I don't use 1.2 mil BTU's. I wouldn't have imagined that there would be that much differance. But that's one of the reasons why I check in every day.
Thanks

Maybe Safe Restore. Are they contracting you to restore them or are you just thinking about upsell? If any acid will do it its going to be hydroflouric. Just read up on it if you get the job.

I made my own. Kind of over did it, but it works real well. There are a few places on line that sell them. I just don't know where. If I can find the thread I will post the links.
