Welcome to Florida. I'm in NE Florida near Jacksonville. IN the panhandle you should have some decient trails. There is a lot of mud and sand here. Almost no rock crawling that is not man made. Basically a real crappy state for Jeeps but we do the best we can. Thanks for the service and glad you're here. And don't let some of these guys turn you off. SOme of them are always on their man period.

Great write up. I'm planing on doing this to my WJ but I think I will get the normal SYE kit for the WJ and for the new TJ that I may buy at this point I will buy the real short one for it. I also plan on putting on a for nine inch but I would like the HP one.

80 CJ7 - SBC Motor - Electric Fan
My Jeep runs about 185* when driving around, but I noticed when it got warm trailriding on Friday outside, and I parked or creeped, that I ran about 205-210*, and it would likely climb beyond that if I idled it for 2 minutes or more.
I guess I have 2 questions:
1. Could the jeep warming up at idle simply be my electric fan (which houls, but...

I put a 5.9 in my 99 tj mated up to the 46re tranny...wired all the factory gauges up. used a stock automatic shift handle, stock fuel pump, stock transfer case(should really go to a np241), you will need a radiator and an electric fan

This last weekend I changed the oil and oil filter on my Jeep. I used Mobil 1 full synthetic 10w 30 and the Fram Tough Guard oil filter the same combination I have been using for years. But since this oil change the oil pressure has been low.
