The guy should have known his state laws before buying it. He should have known it would cost him extra to get emmisions correct. As is = as is. As long as you were completely upfront about the condition of the jeep, you should be in the clear. UNLESS the person that bought it is in California because CA state laws say that the seller is responsible for the vehicle to pass emissions. As is, or not.

yea lockers are a good choice. u will be amazed at what they will do. itll feel like a new jeep with them. you can get those lockrights for fairly cheap and no gear-set up

I have a rear bumper made by these guys here. Probably the best swing away system I have seen. A 1/4 inch steel u shaped plate wraps around the bumper then a 1inch bolt is inserted for the pivot. The tire carrier rids on two sealed bearings. Very smooth, very strong.

i've got a pair of real axles for sale. these are full width and set up for a YJ, they have matching 4:10 gears. they are ready to bolt under a YJ, complete from brake caliper to brake caliper. the front has a high steer set-up on it. front is a passenger drop Dana 60, open, disk brake. the rear is a newer chevy 14 bolt with a eaton posi unit and two piston disk brake set-up. they are both 4:10...
