Everyday trousers (non-suit)?

How many hate to risk a tear or stain with real vintage trousers, especially the rare ones we have found to fit or have paid to have adjusted? The thread began with 'everyday' trousers so I think the posts recommending Bannana Republic and Magnoli are on track. There is a significant advantage, on a practical level, to modern 'stay-pressed' fabrics that have some weight and aren't too synthetic.

Lauren , dgenevieve - those are all men I would like to look like. But as much as we like our own little part of the era, we have to admit that we are finally caught in our own time as far as our own gender ideals - for ourselves or the opposite sex. Hello, not a military wife, but I was an Army brat Over the years I've had several friends who are military wives. I just wanted to say hello. I can sympathize with what you are going through. Navy seems to be the roughest out there for the families, because unless they have a base job, they spend so much time out on ship. Though with this war, everyone has it pretty rough. I ...

We're at this very moment hosting a concert by the Butch Thompson Trio, well known from "A Prairie Home Companion." I'm in the office counting out the tills as they do their encore number, a version of Bing Crosby's "Where The Blue Of The Night Meets The Gold Of The Day." Hopefully they haven't left a mess for me in the Green Room. These musicians can be brutal.

It's all about you and how comfortable you are with yourself. Some people can pull it off, some can't. If it looks like you are trying too hard, then it won't work. There are no universal limits, some people have got the touch, some don't. Even here on this board. Same stuff worn by different people changes from costume to cool...

It's still a really good cigar, I think this was the end of those, though. Anyway, spare a word to the Creator and His Son, if you would, for Dr. Ashley Morris (1963-2008) He died Wednesday, and ...
