Let's see what Reagan had 1. Marines killed in Lebanon - cut and ran from the area 2. Record high unemployment 3. Record high deficits and spending 4. I'm sorry...did I miss the 2009 terrorist attack on the US? 5. If you step back, the only campaign promises Reagan kept was the tax cut for the wealthiest Americans. He promised smaller government - left with a larger government. He promised to cut taxes, but after doing so raised...

In reply to: I didnt know that. I really appreciate the time you took on my behalf. You are a real blessing. Now you know why so many lenders encourage it and make it so easy to take cash out on your mortgage. It's not out of the generosity of their hearts -- it's because they make more money. In reply to: . . . show me someone with a perfect credit score and I'll show you someone ready to steal billions. Show me the credit scores of the people you listed, or is that just your opinion? Personally, the way I see it, if she's the one borrowing the money, then the money is hers. No one is entitled to having their parent borrow money for them. Yes, what she's doing is dishonest (I don't know if it's illegal). But she could have been honest and just never borrowed the money to begin with and your friend is in the same position. In my opinion, the ...

This was not a long-term plan with months of planning and training and coordination of lots of people, like 9-11. It has always just been a matter of time until some individual nutcase/fanatic or some small group did something like this. But it's ludicrous to blame this on Obama. It would still have happened no matter who was elected. jimb...

I take issue with it. I am a died in the wool conservative; my president was in another country he should be viewed as the president of the U.S. who represents this country. Capitalism had 2000 years to get health care right. Now it is broke, is 20% of the economy, 80,000 die every year, 45 million uninsured, daily people get denied or cancelled, cost doubles every 8 years. Time for a new approach. I'm sure Fox News gave it plenty of coverage, but I'll have to admit your article's coverage wasn't as distorted as last summer's, over the top estimates (lies), about the tea party gathering in DC. No firm crowd estimate, just "thousands gathered" which kinda indicates to me it was less than a rousing success. My local paper, which makes Fox News look slightly ...
