Yesterday Lil Lookout and I had one of those normal 7 year old type conversations that you don't remember with much significance. He was talking about who his best friends are this year. He is very detailed in listing ALL of his friends and explaining how he knows them, where he met them, things he's done with them, and what category they fall in (soccer friend, church friend, school friend, ...

I'm voting Republican because I believe oil is worth more than the blood of American soldiers. I'm voting Republican because freedom of speech is fine as long as it is in a free speech zone 2 miles away from where anyone will hear it. I'm voting Republican because some books are just plain evil and they should be banned and burned. I'm voting Republican because the Constitution ...

I guess we all notice things about how others communicate with us, but one thing that bugs me is when people use the wrong word in place of the right word. As an example, and one of the situations that really bugs me, is when people use the word 'then' instead of 'than'. eg. 'I'd rather go to bed then watch tv', instead of, 'I'd rather go to bed than watch tv'. Another one is ...

Phil Gramm, economic advisor to Senator McCain thinks so. Quote: In an interview with the Washington Times, Phil Gramm, a former Texas senator who is now vice chairman of UBS, the giant Swiss bank, said he expects Mr. McCain to inherit a sluggish economy if he wins the presidency, weighed down above all by the conviction of many Americans that economic ...

It's time for Ramadan again. I'm going to make the same dietary (and other) observations this year as I have in years past. I'll post some starting numbers when I have them (like tomorrow). I'm a day late on the start this year. Today is "ruined" by coffee, lunch, coffee, etc. But tomorrow's a new day.
