I would be willing to bet that is
Forest River offered an option of a different tire (Michellin, Goodyear) for a few hundred dollars more to UPGRADE from those Chinese tires, they would see a lot of folks taking the option. IMO putting chines tires on the Cedar Creek is like putting tennis shoes on a girl in a prom dress.

I have the same problem with mine and have had since it was new. I talked to Steve Hicks and he said the problem was because I only had one 12 volt battery. He said that the hydraulic jacks and slides require 4, 6 volt
golf cart batteries. I installed 4 golf cart batteries like Steve said and it helped, but if I cycle the jacks and slides without allowing a few minutes between them for cool down,...

We have always used the
Trucker's Atlas, but this site will work too. I wish the GPS had low clearances as an option and would schedule your trip to avoid them. Faye always has to look at the Trucker's Atlas while we are driving down the road to check the roads ahead.

We just did the factory tour on Tuesday and were told it is 6-8 weeks for a new unit. First, because the factory is scheduled 4 weeks out and then you have to add the transportation time and dealer prep. Congrats on a
new Creek!

I replaced the
Goodyear tires that came on my truck in the spring with Michelin tires. I had 48,000 miles on the Goodyears and they still had a lot of miles left on them but we were heading for the desert and I just didn't feel safe. Personally, I have always preferred Michelins and have always had them installed when I replaced the originals. The Goodyears did an excellent job too though. I had ...

I also have gray spots on my roof. I was blaming it on parking it under trees, but not sure that is it. Nothing I have ever tried has removed them. If you ever find a solution, let me know.
