West Virginia's defense is causing a lot of those problems. Long Beach has 15 turnovers. Huggins looks like a heart attack/stroke waiting to happen.

USC and Stanford will be terrible, UCLA has no on-court leadership, Arizona is rebuilding, Wazzu and OSU are average. Pac-10 = edging towards a double-digit RPI league ranking for the year? Don't sleep on Arizona, they got a lot of new talent (luckily some from USC) and Sean Miller is a darn good coach. Not sure if they're...

Pretty underwhelming start or the Aggies - they are going to have to cover quite a bit of ground to get up even to UCI's level. UCI hasn't lost any game in which they've been favored, and won one as a dog (@LMU), so they are playing at a decent level.

Nice recap. The conference is going to be competitive this year and will be even better next year. In other words, it will not be Cinderella and the 8 other also rans, but 4 or 5 teams with good competitve teams. I like it. It makes for entertaining, enjoyable basketball., which has been missing for about 12 years.

you too man. it seem that your guys' shooters kinda got tired down the stretch and the shots weren't falling. also, if galick wasn't a beast with those 26 points and fouled out with 10 min left like he usually does, the story would've been different.

But there's a bottom line. LB got handled, and though I know they'll get better, they let me down. Still, I think Monson will have them ship shape faster than you can say Spruce Goose!

The Big West should do really well tonight. We can go 5-0 if things bounce our way which would really help the conference's RPI and confidence for the
team.
-Davis is struggling to find an identity but they should take this game against a less talented Ball State. I also thought North Dakota should have been an
easy W so we shall see.
-Poly against Arkansas LR should be a battle of who...

LBS did a good job against Clemson. The rest of their non-conference schedule is really tough as well. AFTER playing WV and Clem, they still have to play
Texas, Kentucky, and Duke. Those last 3 are top-ten teams. Most likely they will lose all three but they stand a chance at an upset. With luck they
won't be blown out. At the start of the normal season, they will have a LOT of ...

Good chances - we need a win.
Sports Illustrated is picking UCSB to come out of the Big West as the representative in this year's tourney - while the media polls had picked Long Beach
State...I am thinking we will have no part this year but in the next two years we may have a shot unless people transfer...

No assemblance of an offense whatsoever, can't make the first end of a one and one, taking bad shots, commiting stupid fouls, while WV is nailing the
three, hitting the front end of one and one's and running a smoothe, effective offense. Glad this is on TV because a refund would be in order, at least for
the first half of play.

they'll need all the positive energy they can get. The Waves outrebounded them by 20+ a ton being offensive boards; Irish, no way that will happen,
because they won't miss so many shots.
this is the one road "biggee" I thought the team might have a shot at winning. Not if they play the way they opened the season though. Only guy who
is really firing on all cylinders is Anderson.

Wow, what a clear case of the have's and have-not's. Won't last long however. Fullerton was also #20 in Sagarin which shows you what an early
season win over a typically good program can do.

Wow!! The Tigers really poured it on. They took an 11 point lead and crushed SC by 27? Wow!! Way to go in getting that "W" and evening the BW
record against DI opponents. SB also plays SC and I hope we fair as well.

Well done. Damn Coach Thomason is doing some fine work. Most thought this could be a bit of a rebuilding year but the Tigers are starting to make a good
statement with wins against a good team in SD State. Now only if Davis and Riverside can live up to the preseason hype...

I'll take Pacific and Long Beach. I'm 2-1. CSUN let me down against TCU and I forgot to make a pic in the UCR-USC game, but the Highlanders did not
cover, I believe.
