Allison, if BJS has Minnelli's cut (which she very well could), she could never do anything with it without Paramount's permission. Howard, you are absolutely right. But listening to Clive Davis would make you believe she's better than Barbra. I have also noticed that Mariah's voice is not what it use to be. She hums and whispers through most of a song then uses her whistle register to compensate. Where are the true, original, dynamic modern singers nowadays?

I'd love to get the sessions with Rupert Holmes from " Back to Broadway", but Barbra was in work mode, not "I'm being photographed"
mode, so I doubt we will ever get these in an official release.
It's a shame, since the songs are wonderfully sung.

Whoa! What a rumour! However, why Barbra, Why New Zealand. Heres hoping that its a warm up for some other world venues. Although, I suspect Barbra will be busy
moviewise next year. And, I suspect if there are any more concerts, and its a big if, they will be of a more intimate club setting like VV.

I don't think this is accurate. From everything I have heard, BJS is on board as is Hoffman.
As for Keitel...I LOVE him and PRAY he has a scene with Barbra and DeNiro. OMG!

I do. "Stoney End" is my favorite Barbra Streisand Album. Then comes "Guilty", "Butter Fly", and "Superman".
Even " Rolling Stone" magazine critics admit that it's good...
