Americans are duly warned by Foggy Bottom. I can't say if the Brits did the same with their own citizens.

"I very much doubt that I would have the very same standard" Ark Me too. But there seems to be a lot of agreement. Have you ever opened up a playboy, seen a top pinup model, and thought to yourself: - egad! What a 4-bagger! - I haven't. Some like redheads. Some like brunettes. But put an ugly one next to a gorgeous one, and I suspect there'd be near universal agreement about which was which. "but not for...

The effect of beautiful people, hyped as it is, is still under-estimated because we are so shy of acknowledging it. I think symmetry has a lot to do with it, because the human race is so deeply binary inclined. Is there some kind of super-race brewing? People focus so much on toned bodies and idealised features (in stead of the insides) and spend so much money on super-teeth and super-educating and super-food (while even the higher middle...

I think it has a 50/50 chance. My cousin's husband, who had lupus nephritis and opted to pay for life insurance and stocks and the works, and than use his money/cash, of which 250,00.00 WAs left to their 2 kids by grandmother on mothers side. Now she is struggling to pay for their house and college. She was furious. I would worry about pre existing conditions with this. I don't know, I'm so up in the air with this. HaPPening way...

Just a few years back we had a sniper that was shooting people on a busy Interstate. It went on several months. Many parents had children traveling that Interstate to college. For a while that certain stretch was pretty quite. He was caught, however I have not found out his 'case' outcome. I have changed my mind off and on about the 'death penalty' I believe I am more for 'life' in prison. Oh Six

Tron....nice review/summation of Rand and her book. Read many moons ago and came to similar conclusion. That which we see now days I would agree the "American Dream" a pipedream, yet there was a time it was achievable. So, what the hell happened? Sear....why are we so locked in our thinking (either/or)? Other countries are able to combine, blend to the two? Glean the best of both? Why can't we? Ark....would agree...

Lucky you Mac!!!! I'm jealous!!!! Autumn is my favorite season but not this one. Cold snap came in, accompanied by gun metal-gray skies and continuous drizzle. Rain/cold caused leaves to fall prematurely and maples/oaks/beech take on the appearance (too soon) of witche's fingers scraping the sky. Think the entire month Oct we were allotted 3 sunny/decent tempt days. Been hustling ...

Once a person has been made into a legend, that legend takes on a life of its own, and as such makes that person into something more than they actually were. People die, but legends live on forever.
