I even have that company for my gas. They got new trucks awhile back.there`s alot of good stuff.Looks at that`38-40 truck grille. It`s hit or miss. But,take all the good stuff and you`d have a hella selestion at your swap meet space.A lot of work, though.I just enjoyed stealing my pictures.I got real excited and worked my way farther in.There`s a house down below and a dog barked when I started...

Re: "New" '78 LWB
Looks like a solid old workhorse. It looks to be mostly stock too. If the price was right on it and it needs very little work to it, I say keep.

Well,I"m guessing your truck is a 1978. That should be what they referred to as the Mandarin interior and the exterior as Russet metallic.

The only difference in the 2 is the amount of drop. The G726 drops the front 3" and the G727 drops the front 2". There as good as most, especially for the price. You just have to decide how much drop you want.
Good Luck!!!

it could be a tbi 305 or a 350. you can either go carbed and swap the intake and carb, or you can take all the stuff out of the 89 and put it in the 78 to keep it fuel injected

You did this yourself? Sounds like it wasn't prepped properly I've used the roll on stuff with pretty good success. Actually I've worn through it before it flaked off.

Have you thought about any of the portable/non-permanent style shelters?
Above that I can't tell you what will work. I can tell you of one that will not based on my experience. California Car Cover, NOAH covers. Some like a little rake, some don't. You could try the 2" blocks for not much expense and if you don't like it level they can be removed. I like the way it sits now.
