ive got a fileserver, tbh the hardware is near enough irrelevent for that purpose, its an amd athlon xp 2500, 512mb ram, 300gb hard disk (this needs upgrading), sata pci card, 10/100 built onto motherboard. I will upgrade it to something with gigabit but tbh wireless only supports 54megabit so thats the bottleneck. it depends what you're doing but i cant imagine why you would need that much ram unless you were running it as a game server...

I have always loved thread like this, there is no right answer - there are plenty of wrong ones though and I can see several here. Both sexual partners have a responsibility to use contraception, so you cannot blame one or the other. As a father, it saddens me that the male here isn't being given an option to step up to that role - not because he violent or a risk to mother or child but purely on the mother's choice. A selfish view....

I reckon if you go in with a copy of your bank statement where it says youve been charged twice and your receipt from that day, they cant really deny that theres been a mistake.
Friend of mine from Tesco's said theyd rather hand out refunds straight away than had to deal with angry customers so it might be the same with asda, being a big supermarket

I can't say I've ever experienced this first hand, but I've definitely had scares where I had to consider this type of thing in the worst case scenario.
If you are really worried about an abortion, maybe consider adoption. I am adopted, and am really grateful for it. My birth mother, although I never met her, picked out great parents who love and me as if I were there blood too. I'm ...

Hi Flower123
Thanks for your post, sound's like you are feeling pretty lonely and isolated today. It's great that you have come here to get some support. It's really positive that you have identified you do not want to self harm tonight and recognise that for you it has become a habit, rather than a solution to the underlying problems.
There is no easy answer to how to stop self ...

Looks good! I remember doing a lot on the Dissolution of the Monasteries because it marked a big social change in the country - monasteries previously would provide a lot of services to the local area like hospitals, education, etc.
but reading through it, it just reminds me of how much i have forgotten lol.

Seeing that the government has reduced us to a nation of ' hospitality'
rather than 'manufacturers', getting rid of the Queen will get rid of one
of the main reasons why overseas tourists might come to this country. She
is iconic. Getting rid of her would make the country a poorer place in more
ways than one.

Poor you What a horrible situation. I'm not surprised you're upset and I hope you do find someone to talk to "in person" as I think it will help you to let it all out. I would personally advocate no contact for a while, as trying to keep the friendship going while you're trying to get over your hurt and disappointment will probably just make things worse and prolong the process. It may well be ...

It's a bit cringe worthy for me - talking about 'most precious thing in the world... your heart' is very soppy! (some people may like that though ) Whats the situation (I may have missed out on posts), are you already dating this girl? If so its much more forgiveable, but if thats the case then you already know better than us what sounds ok.

Feel free to ignore them 100%, they spam out these letters to everyone. If they want to come investigate, they're welcome to - although they have no right to enter your home without your permission (I'm pretty sure you trump the landlord / university's wishes too as residents have those rights in law).
The general strategy of the TV licencing people is to hound and harass as many people as ...

I just really want to lose weight again.
I have never been diagnosed as depressed but I have felt it before. When I was at my lowest weight (about 4 and a half stone) I had literally gave up on life and was ready to die.
