It has nothing to do with social circles. It depends if you want your guests to be split up from each other because they aren't in the first group to find a place to sit at the reception and possibly have to sit on the floor because there is no place else to go. Actually, if you provide extra seating this doesn't usually happen. We had a buffet of finger foods, and we did not have assigned seating. We simply made sure that we had a...

I second that the added info is important. She's his sister, and yet, it's her husband and baby that are involved in the wedding. I'm sure she feels slighted. OHHH darnit. I just ordered 100 of the chocolate dipped shortbreads from Honolulu Cookie Co. I didn't even think about that being that my wedding is in December as well. Maybe I will have them wait till the last minute to place them on the tables.
