Oh I so hear what you are saying. You just go on and on down through the years and your furkids are always present. Always doing their thing, living side by side with you....then comes the realization.
Seven of my 11 cats are seniors. Now one has come down with hyperthyroidism. Another has diabetes. They all sleep more than they used to. But they still get crazy from time to time. ...

He's pretty young to be left alone anyway.
We never had the room to do "proper" introductions - we live in an RV. What about letting your other kitties smell him all over you - guage their reactions - and based on that, maybe letting them in the room with you and feeding them all treats together and just seeing what happens?

Thank you everyone for your hopes and prayers. Ty's sickness came as a surprise and progressed rapidly. The drs told me there was maybe a 5% chance he would recover, noting that he may have siezures the rest of his life. I had to make the tough decision to put him down. I'm heartbroken and deeply saddened by this loss.
Ty, I'll love you forever and wish we had more time together. You were ...

Well, most of the posts are made by people who are having some kind of trouble with their cats....you don't see a lot of "my kitty is perfect!" threads going around. Because a lot of people only join a cat forum when they're having trouble. So that does kind of skew the results a bit, and makes things look worse than they are.
No, keeping a cat isn't complicated. But there is a lot of wrong ...

Dougie and Rufus - get the rest of the stuff to the new place. It is so shiny and new. And Dougie, I know you didn't mean to set the kitchen on fire. Chef Emeril LeChat is very happy with the new kitchen here.

Its about 12 weeks like someone else said.
When my kitten was born he had blueish greenish eyes at first, but then they turned to yellow on the outside and green on the inside - plus hes an orange tabby so his eyes match his fur !

You really have to know someone to know if they are a chronic complainer. Without knowing their backstory, the complaints could be legitimate. Even if they are a chronic complainer at times the complaints may be legitimate and you really need to know the person to weed out the genuine complaints.
My mother is a chronic complainer. She's probably the worst one I have ever encountered. ...
