we have a couple of new 4.6 mustang dipstick tubes. there are two styles that i know of. one bolts to the side of the cylinder head and the other bolts to the valve cover. we have the one that bolts to the cylinder head. pretty sure it has to do with whether heads are windsor or romeo. we are closed on sundays & mondays although we may be there monday. if you still need this give chris a call ...

to answer your first question--- theres only one way to find out. lol. and no, the bottom ends on 4vs are not the same as 2vs. 4v engines have a forged kellogg crank, making it more suitable for high rpms. I would just analyze my dyno graph with the operator and let him guide me to where he thought i should shift in each gear, then test this at the track to find the sweet spots.
