And we are back to the "If it's not a Cadillac it sucks" internet gear fetishist meme. Yay. Where's J_S with some charts I'd prefer the knowledgeable partner with the slightly less bling beacon (the other people meme) than the dipshit with the bling beacon who'll get buried (which is the TGR meme)

Yes, which is why FiOS, although still being copper inside the house, is faster than Cable since it's fiber all the way to the house....

Ski Length and Knee Injuries...
Published (2009-11-21 13:00:00)
FWIW, I skied for about 30 years on long straight skis and never had a knee injury requiring anything more than PT... Blew out my knee and needed surgury in my first full season skiing my 178cm nordicas.

Solstice "Peak to Penthouse Pant" Tarmac, Med. http://www.solsticeoutdoor.com/shop/...ouse-pant.html I think they are 10k/10k I got 'em on tramdock, new with tags... they need to be a bit longer for my taste, but plenty of room in the waist - I'd put 'em at a 34" waist/32" length. I require a 33W/34L! They are cool looking anyway...

I like the way yous think, but it's not in Cambridge, MA it's in Granby, CT which would translate into a looooooong ass drive. We'll see how shit pans out, but I just finished the oil change and I'm waiting on laundry to make moves. I'm def heading to Boston for the show. If I make it to her party, great. If not, oh well... I'll make up for it with booze and illicit drugs.

Why would they ski any more hooky or washy than the regular 188s? They basically have the same dims, just a little more length.
I assume you haven't ever skied a pair of S7s....

On a related note...I'm going to be pulling the last couple names for the KMTN ski pass giveaway around 5 at the brew pub. Toss your name in the bucket if you are in the neighborhood. Can't hurt. Of course, drink beer there too.

with a wide ski booting out is not much of an issue and the thing people doint like about adding stack is that it makes the ski less stable, more hooky

Interesting...
Seems like this may make it harder for WP and Copper to compete with the 5 mtn pass, at least for local business.

As far as I can tell, if a mountain has a "base village", its gonna be run by assholes. If not, it could very well be run by great people!
