YES!!!! We got it!!!!!!! I just won an ebay bid on a double flight!!!!!! I wasn't going to go with the double, but I couldn't pass up a deal like that. My total... 49.99!!! It's 80 to ship it. The bugs are going to be beyond happy when they see it. Wow, I'll be able to fit so many toys in that thing! Okay, now that I've won my cage perhaps I can get some sleep. Got to work early in the morning, LOL! __________________

i think FB is a terrible idea wont it just pull everyone from here? As to changing TF. Maybe living on the general, lovie and other birds sections have left me with a rosie view, but i love it here. yeah it could do without the *****ing, backstabbing and flaming, but the only way to get rid of that is remove the human element. And despite his best efforts Sammy hasnt quite learnt to type yet

Um, people to pull their fingers out and stop getting up and arms over the daftest of things. Everyone makes typos, if you feel like to MUST point out a spelling error - do it by PM. I hate to see threads dragged off topic because people want to rant about poor spelling. As long as people are not talking in text language and an effort is made to spell correctly... then why make a big fuss. I am sure that everyone is intelligent enough to work...

those bugs are more than likely weevils. they are a pest yes but they arent a threat to your birds health. they are a threat however to any biscuits, cakes, flour, rice etc in your house. keep the feed in a sealed container outside or freeze it. the only way to get rid of these bugs is to clean all areas out and throw the feed.
i have a weevil problem right now too and my birds love eating ...

I think French Moult shows up when they are just babies in the nest, so you probably don't have to worry about it. He could just be moulting. My Cricket tends to look a little rough when she's going through a moult. Do your budgies get plenty of sunshine?

In my experience, Guinea pigs do much better being kept indoors, however if this isn't an option for you then I suggest you make their living arrangements more secure, possibly with something to stop the wild birds from eating their food. This could give the guinea pigs illness, wild birds carry all sorts of disease and it's very easy for guinea pigs to pick them up.
I don't recommend you ...

OK people...we need some life breathed into Tailfeathers!
What can we do to get it as active as before?? Suggestions?
Things you like?

They prefer to wait until they feel "safe" to lay, and in this case she's decided her "nest" is in the drawer, not her cage. Can you let her sit on her eggs, in the drawer, for a few hours a day? You're right, I think - if you keep taking her eggs away from the "nest," she's going to keep replacing the ones that got "lost."

What dog food do you use?
I do realize we are all in different parts of the world, so brands will be different, but I was just wondering. I just recently aquired a Mini Schnauzer. She is 13 weeks and 5lb. Her breeder started her on Iams puppy formula for small breeds, so that is what I continued on. I also have 2 outside dogs, a ...

are birds sensitive to vibrations? kito was beyond strange this morning - to the point of me panicking. normally, i open the blinds and uncover the cages. i let him out, he does his big poop, and he gets a nutriberry. every day, that's his routine.
this morning he was very weird. he pooped and i gave him his nutriberry, which he just held on to. didn't touch it. nothing. he just sat ...
