Hi Cheryl, its good to see you again. Sorry about the girl drama, hate to say it but some girls will make something out of nothing everytime... boys always seem to make friends or that is my opinion. Working that many hours is just way too much and then getting the swine flu on top of it all must of been just rotten, hope you are feeling better now.

What a dork! I was sitting there, eating some cereal. He was sitting on my shoulder and decided to climb down my arm and onto my hand. I put a piece down in front of him. He pushed it away. He then climbed over and insisted that I held a piece for him while he ate. If I put a single piece down, he would throw it. I had to hold it. And he insisted that I did so, lol. If I stopped, he would whistle and push at my hand. What a goof!

Yeesh you really are between a rock and a hard place with Rudy aren't you? Sounds like an aviary setting really may be the answer for him. Don't feel bad about it. You've done all you can do. This will be the final "gift" to him.

watery droppings
Sammy has had watery droppings for the last couple of days. It's only on and off. Sometimes they are fine, normal and well formed. Other times the white is really liquid... almost clear, and only a little bit of well formed, normal colour solid bit. When they are watery like this i've also noticed there are a lot...

Where are you, globally speaking? Different countries have different cages, so knowing where you're located, means we can suggest cages from the right country. =)
Powder coated is definitely best. Other coatings can chip off, but as long as the powder coating has been done properly in the first place, there's no way a 'tiels going to get it off. 5/8ths is the maximum bar spacing for a 'tiel...

Games
What sort of games do you play with your birds? I'm looking for some ideas for Willow. Diego is content to hang out with me, but I have to play with Willow because if I don't she will play by herself and always manages to get in trouble. She's been wandering off of her cage a lot so when she does I have started throwing a ...

If he's sucking your "mojo" then he's not as great as you think him to be. A healthy relations ship HAS to stand on it's own. Meaning both people have to be secure to have their own "me time." A girls night out (or weekend) / boys night out (or weekend) is also healthy.

I can't comment on all you have written, but do agree that the law is very lax.
As far as your nephew is concerned. He definitely has some anger issues and finds joy from tormenting animals. Unfortunately this usually leads to human abuse and murder. I would not be swayed by your sister and her son. The child would not be welcome in my home if he did not respect my wishes or my animals. He ...

I am sorry to hear you guys are going through this Lori-Ann
I was going to give you hug but you guys are contaminated (Just trying to lighten the spirits).
Your family is strong, mind and health wise, you will all pull through this.
I don't believe in the flu shot or the vaccine for the H1N1, it's still too new to be trusting what they've been offering.

I feel that im losing her.
My little skip has been very stressed lately. She has always been a plucker but I calmed the plucking for quite a while.
This morning however I uncovered skip and found her little face covered with blood. She has a slight hole in her side where I assume she has been picking all night.
I have cleaned ...

Re: A freaking garfield attacked my bird!
Unfortunately, I can't help you with the injury question, but I can point out that it is never safe to take a fully-flighted bird outside without any kind of restraint. Definetly something to remember for next time... if there is one.
Personally, if the bird was acting completely fine I...
