Go back to the top 24 format for the semifinals. The top 32/36 really didn't work. I mean, they're both flawed - the even gender split screws over some better singers for the sake of balance. I'd prefer it to just be "May the best singers make it to the finals", but the top 32/36 "group" format doesn't really help out much there, either. Still, the top 24 format DOES give singers more...

Completely loving Is It Over !! This song needs to be a single IMO! It's like the picked the most bland clips they could find for those 30 sec clips... man I'm relieved considering I already plunked down money on the itunes pass and really was worried I wasn't going to like this album.

I can't feel bad for her though because she accepts this behaviour from him. I don't feel bad for her either, because you're right, she makes her own bed. My point is just that this is the only relationship where I see a side of Kate I can't abide. Aside from her inexplicable relationship with Jack, I have no problem with Kate. I don't want to speak for Moommarked2, but I think he or she was referrng to how Danny views his career and music, in terms of having a romantic vision, or a vision that's really not clear. Maybe in time, as Danny gains more experience in the industry, he'll carve out a nice for himself, and produce the music that he wants to produce.

I can't stand Jack on many levels, but I only have bad feelings for Kate in the context of the Jack/Kate relationship. I can't feel bad for her though because she accepts this behaviour from him . David Nail's "Red Light" is exactly the sort of song I envision for his first single. ITA. I think that a song like that and a video like that would suit Danny very well. :) I just hope Danny's label does better by him than what I've heard from Idols so far. Did anyone catch the "Fairy Idol" special over the weekend on Nickelodeon's " Fairly Odd-parents" cartoon? One of the main characters was given a "Learn to Sing Like Diana Degarmo" tape, which he uses to help him win the competition. When the next singing sequence came on, my son swore that the male singer was being voiced by Diana - and when I checked the credits, he was right.

Which is why limiting the voting to, say, 10 votes per phone number would be a stronger solution. Keep it positive, let people vote for their favorites, but eliminate the computer-driven rapid dialing that skews the results. Love Jack/Juliet, but after seeing tonight's episode, I firmly believe Jack does not deserve Juliet at all. I'll forgive Kate for a lot, but Jack doesn't get a pass on this. I was pretty angry at him for what went on in the most recent episode, and I agree he really does not deserve Juliet now. I'm also annoyed that she has been relegated to the other woman AGAIN! Well I used to ship Jack/Kate up to the middle of season 3 but I gotta say that now I'm happy with Kate/Sawyer and Jack/Juliet pairings.(Maybe I'm just happy not to have any more triange/quadrangle drama).
