TV Lessons I've Learned -...

I've learned that when a commercial comes on there is no point in changing the channel because the other channels have commercials on as well. It is a conspiracy and the networks are in cahoots. Everyone air commercials at the same time so the viewer won't get distracted by watching another show!! Okay I vented and feel better.

I did notice that something looked off, but I didn't pay much attention, maybe thinking his shirt was tucked in funny. But when I just rewatched that bit, I see it's very noticeable. Something I had been wondering about for a while was answered with this last show. I wondered if Craig was really pounding on the side of the camera and making that banging noise. Ah HA! The noise is as real as his farts. I enjoyed...

Fabrisse , if you aren't already planning on including this in your report, when you get the time, did they say anything in general about CM? Like, do they like it? And, why? Or, not, and why?

Please don't take this the wrong way, because I'm not trying to sound like an asshole . . . but are you watching this show in HD? HD television has caused MAJOR issues for female stars (and some male actors) because of it's more than unforgiving depiction. Even young actresses have issues. I don't think any 52 year old is going to look untouched by time on HD - or even in real life. However, real life is much more...

Because last season I started watching on a big-screen HD (yeah, I know how to drop those kind of 'hints' as well as the ho'wives), and the close-ups shots of Jeana's face scared the fucking shit out of me!!!! That is so funny cause I tivo'd on my spare room tv (hiding from SO, lol) last year but this year I had upgraded to a HD and the difference is amazing....what is so freaking odd...

Stop trying to burst my bubble of denial, Isabella! *g* - it's the only way I'm gonna get through the next 6 days... hehehe. Didn't mean to hun, but I'm staring at the pictures and I just can't deny it. I know you're trying to soften the blow for me:) And congrats to Joe Mantegna - Rossi's now officially been in more eps than Gideon was (I wonder when Emily passed Elle?) Plus anyone who has ever read...

There are a few scenes in the movie Precious where game shows are seen as a character watches TV. At one point there's a close up of Florence Henderson on Pyramid. I can't even imagine how bizarre it would be to be the contestant playing with her if she happens to go to this movie.

Carter's profession, resourcefulness, logic, brains, and discipline were never the issue for me. What bothered me is that she just seemed to have no interest in the support-system/relational-gossip types of relationships that most women (and many men) have involvements (of some kind) as a core staple of their life. Did any of the characters have those relationships? I mean, how much do we know the their lives outside of the Stargate, in...

Here's a great article on marking the 100th episode. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/conten...8e326006bc2e387 That would rock so hard. This is what I want for a season finale. Pretty please. Oh hun, if I could write the season's finale, I defintiely would write it and really, I want to see Prentiss in peril for once. I mean, there's got to be a reason why she wanted to work in BAU and study serial killer. It's gotta be...

Jeana has demonstrated over and over that she buys her children's affection and they have pretty much demonstrated that it's the money that they really care about from her. Word. The first episode of the first season showed Jeana taking Kara car shopping and Kara said that her mother doesn't love her but if she buys her a BMW it will prove that she loves her. I like to think that if I had a child that said he would hit me with...

I blame Evan for this. And Kenny. And "Johnny Bananas." And Yyler, just because I can. So . . . who's looking forward to The Ruins ? Given the sucking that is The Real World: Cancun , I can't help but look forward to it.

I watched Ashes and Dust on Wednesday. That was the first time I'd seen it. Pretty intense episode. Prentiss still bugs me. That is all. :)

Among the new shows they are trying to replace with Eli Stone, Pushing Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money, Castle is the only show I'm willing to give a chance. Maybe because of the unconventional crime solving style, akin to Pushing Daisies. I've only seen Nathan Fillon in "Desperate Housewives" as Adam Mayfair for only one season. As for Stana, she's in "Heroes" as Hana Gitelman for only one ...

I am definitely looking forward to this show and I agree Simon Baker is excellent (I really wanted whatsherface to end up with him in the Devil Wears Prada.) Oh and yeah, where did you all get to see the pilot? I don't want to have to wait until fall!!!

It looks like it could get intresting. Hopefully it's better than the usual Zoey 101 , Unfabulous , Just Jordan garbage Nickelodeon's been spewing recently. I miss the good old days of Nickelodeon.

Whoa, shout out to Louvul! That poor little boy, maybe they could have asked him to give it to another family maybe through Freecycle instead of just busting it up? It looked ok, and might have given him some closure. "It's not puffy, it's expensive, and it is something I can eat on my diet." Uh, what kind of diet would that be now? I lurve the cover art, except for DeVito having the largest head. Especially the "Good (slash). Clean (slash). Fun." Fifteen episodes for S3. It's almost like a real TeeVee show now! Is it September, yet?

I couldn't find a thread for this show and that's a shame because the first episode was freaking hilarious. Funniest show I've seen in a long time.

I hate in the description how it said he loses his law degree. Doesn't one lose their law license? Judging from the ad they ran during The Tonight Show last night, he lost his law license because his law degree was discredited. Paraphrasing the conversation between him and his buddy ('cause I saw it over 24 hours ago, and my memory sucks): "But I thought you had a degree ...

No Slade and Jo -- sniff -- I'm choking back the tears! I got a good, hard belly laugh that she can't be on again because of her blossoming musical career. Oh yeah, everyone wants to hear "Oooooooh the way I feeeeeeel". BTW, that has to be sung as off-key as possible to mimic Jo's wonderful voice. I was hoping we'd finally see Slade coming out as a gay man and walking around in curlers and ...

I gotta say I'll probably watch it from first ep to last. I'm a masocist like that. The number of years it took me to break free of Passions..... Anyway, I hope Lorne is on it. I like the idea of them being stuck in an alternate reality or out of their own time. That actually makes it sound interesting. Don't tease us.

They stole a joke from Steve Carell. During Comic Relief (or some other comedy charity thing), he did a brilliant bit about appealing to cats who have inherited money from their crazy old lady owners to donate. It was much funnier than the SNL sketch, which was boring as any real financial commercial. Designing Women did an episode where a little old lady had left tons of money for her cat...
