I don't know if it really applied this time, but take the 3 Galu women sans Shambo. I realize you were just using them as an example, but Galu's delusions kinda make sense when you factor in a free radical like Brett. Apparently a number of people thought Brett was a close ally. To take your example, Laura would have looked at the Galu men + Shambo and not necessarily seen a tight alliance. She would have thought she was the one...

The clue for the roadblock said "who can remain calm under pressure?" (or something like that). Could they have written more perfect words for 3 of these 4 teams? Meghan - so cannot remain calm under pressure even when she isn't the one doing the task. Whichever it is of the Bickerson Brothers that can't shut up for 2 seconds cannot remain calm under any circumstances, let alone pressure. And Erika either yells...

Noisack , if the difference in "teamwork" is as you describe (and I'll assume that description for the sake of argument) then comparing the "teamwork" on Galu and Foa post-merge is almost an apples/oranges comparison. Galu never got to the point that the remaining FF4 did. Part of this is due to circumstances: an early merge and an IC win-streak. But it's also their fault if they haven't...

S19: Laura - TWoP Forums
Published (2009-11-23 00:00:00)
When Laura discusses the situation in her interviews, I wish she would handle it the way Jenna Morasca did regarding Christy. Simply say, "In real life we probably would have gotten along fine, but in the context of the game we hated each other." Admit she hated Shambo, acknowledge it was a two way street and move on. All of this non-sense about it being so painful to watch herself portrayed as the mean person is ridiculous....

How many roadblocks does Brian have left to do? Erika has only done a couple hasn't she? No. They're equal in RBs now, which is why I believe Brian wanted her to do this one. If he had done this RB, he would have been at six, and she would have to do the remaining two automatically. It was a smart decision on his part. They have a say in the next two legs (my fingers are crossed that they make it despite the Speed Bump) since...

Yeah, that video confirmed what I'd been suspecting since the merge-that though Shambo has at times mentioned that she is with Foa Foa she really is about beating Laura and protecting Russell. If John can work that to his advantage next time, we'll see. If Shambo wants to reward John for voting with her, and if Monica & the rest can hold their nose and welcome him back to purple, they've regained the numbers advantage...

Right now I think I'd rather watch Ugly Betty than Smallville. That or Survivor: Segregation Island.

...the money guys. Who are really only interested in the bottom line so here is some addresses to convince them we want to see Scott in the role of Nathan Wallace Well one thing is for sure: he has proven he can deliver with a multi-generational female audience and a lot of men. It might be worth it to include the article about SP's portrayal as a man's man and appealing to women...bella...

Don't know if somebody mentioned it already (I skipped through the last pages but couldn't find a word about it), but I think, I found the cable knit cardigan Rory is wearing in "It's Just Like Riding a Bike" (7.19) ( http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/6220/bild2nq1.p ng ): I think it's an Volcom Inez Hooded Sweater (but seems a little shorter than the one from Rory?): http://www.usoutdoorstore...

Interestingly enough, I read an interview in which Tim Kring says he isn't much of a comic book fan. You couldn't tell by watching Heroes. Interesting.

As you can see, there is at least one moment where a team mispronounces their destination (most common) or some other thing along the way in the Amazing Race. This season's most memorable seems to be Phnom Penh, where one team even called it "Sean Penn." Also making the list this season was Gary and Matt's mispronunciation of various streets in Stockholm while getting lost. Last season was ...

raceguy120390 , I do agree that TAR3 has been the best season, but I would rank TARAS above Season 9, just because in TAR9, I hated everyone after Wanda/Desiree went. In TARAS, I at least had Dustin and Kandice the entire time.

I was thinking an added challenge for the racers would be to get some sort of a burden/extra luggage onto some airline legs. For instance, anyone who has flown while accompanied by a bicycle will know all too well what I'm talking about. Getting about in various cities/cultures/continents to and from the airports themselves on bikes would provide a refreshing and environmentally desirable ...

Bought over from Spoilers Only. Thanks gobatara From Ausiello Exclusive: Smallville Casting News! Expect more turnover at the "Daily Planet" next season. One of my Smallville moles tells me that producers are looking for an "extremely hot" thirtysomething actor to play the new editor of the "Daily Planet" presumably replacing that slacker Princess Leia, er, Pauline Kahn. He'll appear...

pjamma , given Lorelai # 2's egregious behaviour as a teenager - especially her leaving Hartford with Rory at the age of seventeen - it was likely felt she shouldn't or couldn't be given money.
