I had a Corrado G60 (modded heavily) for a bit - loved it and if I were to buy another one it would be a V6 without a doubt; however if I were at your stage of TT ownership I would be plowing the money into the TT, coilovers, remap, and all the other bits too;-) Charlie

Today I vacuumed my car and cleaned the leather seats (my liquid leather from Hark should be here any day now). Took it into the garage in the shade (it was 101 here today with 80% humidity) and polished the valve cover.

Can you explain a little about what this is going to look like? and where are you going to install this for display. Sounds very interesting!

Went a similar route with my 19" upgrade, did not want the cheap tyres the rims came with, I spoke with my local tyre depot who did me an excellent deal (£430 fitted) on a set of 235 X 35 X 19 Falken FK452's.

Amp, headunit and speakers. Yes, you can but you'd be better off going for a good Alpine headunit and a good amp and upgrading your speakers. I'd only keep Bose if it is already there - mine has it and it does sound good but I would not go to all the aggro of retro-fitting it. I have replaced my headunit with an Alpine but I am hooked up to the original Bose amp and 9 Bose speakers.

I'm sure I read you could adjust it using the slider which adjusts the rate of intermittent wipers. Not sure if that's just for cars with auto wipers aswell - or if I have made that up, but I'm sure I read it in the manual!

Remap, and I personally wouldn't bother with a new exhaust till the car needs one.

I am very much a car snob, and would only consider a German car for my personal transport, but having had over 35 Fords in the last 10 years, I would say the likes of the new Fiesta and Mondeo are far superior, pound for pound than the equivalent VAG cars.
