3.4/ext cab swap - Page 15 -...

Here's the idea i've got going for the rear section. Not done yet, but the start of it. Kinda hard to see here, but coming back around behind my shackle point that is already welded on. Probably get the arch right in the tube through there and weld the tube to the shackle mount as well (just a little more strength really). Still working with it (bracing, x-cab protection, frame mounting, etc.)

Longmont has at least one of each Autozone, Advance, Checker, Carquest, Napa. The dealer in Longmont is Stapp Interstate. I just run plain ole Duralast pads on mine. The biggest challenge has been keeping the rears in adjustment. Best upgrade is probably discs on the rear.

Could be a sign the clutch is going out, but a more likely issue is the shifter seat is worn out. http://www.marlincrawler.com/transmi...-shifter-seats The shifting issues with reverse are normal.
