Has anyone tried.....
Published (2009-11-09 14:02:00)
I imagine that this would be hard but has anyone tried the intercourse every day method? A friend of mine told me that it worked for her. This is only my 2nd month of TTC. Like the rest of you, I am hoping that I get good news in December! November has been hard for me. My baby boy would have been 4 months this month, this is the time of year last year that I found out I was pregnant, and my SIL just had a baby over the weekend. This has been...

Rachel, I am so sorry for your loss. I agree with and understand everything you are feeling. I also lost my baby girl, Emma, at 36 weeks from a nuchal cord. She was perfect. It is so hard. I want to be pregnant again, but I have all those same worries. I had no problem getting pregnant with my son (2yo) or Emma, but I constantly stress that for some reason I will have difficulty now. I hate it. Emma was born 8/11/09 and I am still recovering...

Once you've lived through the worst possible thing - the death of a child - it's hard not to live under a dark cloud. Try not to jump to the very worst conclusion. It sounds like you're under the care of very capable doctors and it does make a big difference that they are on top of this. If there is a problem, they can determine what the best course of action is.
We all know there are no...

My doctor had me really juice up on vitamins. Stay on the prenatals and make sure you are taking: calcium, omegas, B6, and extra folic acid. The more your stores are replenished the better you are able to care for your next wee one.
Also, light excersize to strengthen your body. Yoga, walking, hiking, biking... Whatever you are able to do to help your body become stronger again. I really...

No more innocent pregnancies, that's one of the hardest things to deal with once we've been through what we've been through. I remember someone posted one time " I wish I could be in a coma for the whole time I'm pregnant and then wake up once the baby is born." Sounds like a plan.
I will say sometimes burying your head in the sand is not always a bad thing. One woman said her doctor told...

Oh I get it. And for me, that's one reason these message boards are so great. We can connect with people who REALLY GET IT. I remember when I started feeling what you are talking about. It's kind of like you turn a corner. I also think you are correct that once you have survived the worst thing that can happen (the death of a child - and I do believe it's the worst thing you can handle ...

Oh, Danielle, I'm so very sorry. I had just replied to your other post. It's so hard when it hits you all over again, isn't it???? This morning I was doing yard work and every car that went by (we live on a very quiet street, so it wasn't many) I was looking at them and waiting. Then I started thinking "what/who am I waiting for????" And I realized I was waiting for a stranger to bring ...

Kandis.... I am reaching out a huge hug to you. Please know you are in my thoughts this morning.
I felt the same exact way when I had mine done, almost 2 years ago now. They didnt find anything... which is comforting and frustrating at the same time. This TTC road is a journey... I know how difficult it can be... and even more difficult after losing our babies.
I would suggest taking 2 ...

Still here! In the 2ww and sick on top of it (groan!) This is our . . . 3rd? 4th? cycle of ttc. AF should be here the 13th. IF no AF I'd like to hold off on testing until the 16th like Fertility Friend suggests b/c BFNs are so hard to take. At the same time, I want to buy more and more and more HPTs to have a super-stash on hand. But when I do that I POAS way too often. I think I'm ...

Hi. I am so sorry to welcome you here, but glad you found us. I am very sorry for the loss of your little girl Hope.
Your feelings are all valid considering what you have gone through. I know that sometimes we put a lot of weight in the "what ifs". This is purely naturally, but for us its even scarier, knowing that everything is never perfect. We have lost the innocence of being pregnant....

Oh, Nicole, I'm so very sorry. Angela was a beautiful baby. I'm Aimee, and we lost our sweet Andrew on 5-23-09 at 38 weeks. I went for my regular appointment and there was no heartbeat. I was induced and he was born the next morning. He was beautiful, perfect in every way--but his umbilical cord was wrapped tightly around his neck 3 times. I wanted to ttc right away, but DH wasn't ready. ...

Hi Aimee:
I hear you! I can understand your frustration! I feel that way sometimes too! I just make it a point to never visit the other boards other than this one - at least for now. Dalton was born on Jan. 8th and passed away on Jan. 15th. We knew before he was born that the chance of survival for him would not be good but I still felt like we had to do all we could b/c there was always a ...

I also want to add that my husband and I did not TTC last time. I came off of birth control last August just because I knew I wanted to get pregnant in a year or so. I figured it would take a while because I had been on BC so long. It did not take long at all and I found out I was pregnant last November. I hope that we are lucky again this time because TTC is stressful! I am looking at ...
