As many will get to know . I have taken on the responsibilty of bringing back the Valley Custom " Ina Mae Overman Lincoln" . I need some thoughtful help on charting out the correct path for the direction of the restoration. How far , to what time period, and to what level should the restoration go. Its fairly obvious that the car will need an extensive ground up effort but what determines what ...

Im building a 32 ford and I cant deside on a color to paint it. I no the color I dont want is black. Could you guys post some pictures for me. Im going with the 60's look. What is the most outrageous price you have been given for a small amount of work? I called to get an estimate for rust repair on my rocker panel. The guy quoted me at 65 an hour (not bad labor) but went on to say something like that would take 15+ hours!!! $975 not including tax to cut and weld 3 holes in my rocker!!!! Is this over the edge or am I just dumb?

Just got home from a blistering day in the sun, and just knew everyone would want to see a few of my favorites. The turnout was terrific even the high heat.

This is the first year we are going to Good Ol Days in Winfield. They have a car show Friday night. Food, Games, rides and a beer garden has been expanded to the whole event. Just checking to see if anyone else is gonna go.

At first the title may read like something that has been beaten to death, but take a minute and maybe this can be a fresh look of sorts. Firstly, I would like to toss finish out the window. This isn't primer vs. paint or chrome vs. rust. And it certainly isn't big money vs. the working stiff. I'm talking design, stance, and presence . I have been thinking about details on my coupe and ...

Let me preface this by saying that there are absolutely no new thoughts in this post. Unless you are interested in the perspective of a grumpy old carmudgeon, skip this thread. I looked through the pictures from the Primer Nats (and thanks to BeachHop/Noddy for the excellent coverage), and I had the same reaction that I had when i went in person a couple of years ago: there are almost no ...
