still a lot of good shares out there. The obvious ones have had their day i reckon. I,m never going to get too excited about a couple of percent gans. IC is good for research if you have a sector in mind. I pay for IC advantage so if you come accross an article which is locked i can get it for you.

10p on share worth is it £7 hardly worth bothering with plus there is danger it will plummet towards pre bid levels if the buyer goes. IMO no enough is owned by hedge compnies to make a difference, though obviously they plant the news to try and get some action

http://www.iii.co.uk/markets/?type=sectors The sector is finally getting some attention. Perhaps because comods, banks etc. are weighing. TW should be gaining more than most because of its good recent news and US house builder sentiment (however PSN flying too). A somewhat delayed reaction, but still most welcome. Hope they can stay in the spotlight for a while, then this new channel should confirm.

In too many to mention, spread thin across 20 in my ISA, BDEV & RDW among them, still in WICH, MWB, SWG, NTG, some losing some winning, wouldn't swap many, think they're all winners long term. Never did get WTM, see they're up 16% today, only 80K shares (£35K) traded all day through LSE & Plus and no news!

Haha Sandy my long term view shows plenty of rises like this however I've got my intraday trading hat on and that means looking at the end of the day. I am quite impressed with the rise today however for a stock with no news a rise to pivot point 3(!) means it's going to come back down in my experience, only occasionally does it continue to rise past as all the MM's start selling. Now for today ...

I' m long (from a figure I will not name) but as far as I can tell all is good in the hood and is undervalued from its pre RI price. Stronger than TW but not by much. Less volatile than TW but does move nicely and seems a good bet.
My Opinion of course, bit bias as i'm sitting on quite the loss.

50p was my top target and I was amazed when it overshot upwards. Why do you think it should be 60p? What sort of value does that put on the company. Dont forget there are three times as many shares as there were pre slump

Not a lot i should think. Recently the share has been no where near that, there is no update due until early February, and house selling normally drops back up to Christmas. It could get towards 50 I should think though.
60p would be touching FTSE 100 status which TW does not deserve right now

I had a quick look and dismissed it. 48p, a 1 for 1 placing and 1 for 1 OO at 42p - exactly matching the TW model but TW discounted from 48p to 25p. I know the Yell investors are enthusiastic but I can't see the price holding anywhere near 42p. Are you shorting it popes?

>>>and if people will ever bother to read the Barker Review they'd see how many we have to build each year.
The Barker Review exists only to explain house price inflation in terms of anything other than what it actually was. I.e. An inflationary, euphoric, speculative, highly leveraged crack up bubble.
Didn't they conclude we need 10 billion extra houses, to absorb all the money ZanU ...

Housebuilders are moving together. 50p here would see Bdev at 180p, Redrow at 190p. I'd be happy but I can't see it soon. 45p tops in the near future IMO but that's just gut feeling, no charts.

Thanks Mr J. Good spot, and yes it could provide a tonic for TW.
One of the analysyts recently said that their reason to favour TW over the other UK house builders, was precisely because they have exposure to the stronger US recovery as well as the UK.
I thought you were starting to come round until I read your suggestion that their will be a terminal decline. LOL. You do make me chuckle....
