wrong date
Published (2009-12-31 12:12:00)
Hi sweetmelissa1, Thanks for letting me know about your date stamp error. I've made the requested correction and forced a recalculation of your account, so everything should look normal now. My guess is that you won't encounter this problem again. If tends to afflict users with new equipment on the first upload; it also affects users whose iPod batteries have drained completely, because the device then reverts to factory date and...

hi new guys. so far this has been a great challenge and a very supportive forum group. I have a big worry now. I'm doing the nike coach program 'walk to run' and i'm at the interval week where i'm walking 3 running 2 x 5 times and am feeling at times like that is kicking my ***. now my worry is next week when i'm walking 5 running 5 x 5 times. ugh, i hope i can do this.

That means that for that run you recorded, you averaged 10 minutes and 44 seconds for every kilometer you ran.

Where are the 60+ runners???
Published (2009-12-30 07:36:00)
Only one runner in the 60-99 team at the "Lucky Numbers - age competition", a challenge starting January 1st. Where are the others? I know there are lots of 60+ runners, sometimes running every day (making me jealous) to keep in good shape. In my running-group there is a guy who reaches the age of 80 January 10th and still runs a 5K in 26 minutes. And at the Thursday morning group of the atleticsclub Argo (Doetinchem, The...

Calibration problems - Runs are...

How/where you have the sensor placed is most likely the cause of your calibration issues. You might want to purchase a N+ sensor pouch that attaches to your shoelaces. They cost $5-$10 & are very accurate when used properly. Good luck!

sensors
Published (2009-12-29 20:46:00)
The sensor doesn't work by having your foot "hit" it in any way. It measures the motion of your foot and the period when your foot is not moving....an accelerometer. Cutting a new sensor spot won't do any good. How old is your sensor? Perhaps the battery is getting low?? Just an idea. JimmyD

Hey Krazybam, Yes it is a little quirky.. but we would still be using 286 computers unless someone had the vision to keep moving ahead. Give it a little time..they will work out the bugs. Keep it positive!

Hi Steph, I've addressed your primary issue--the misdirection you're getting from iTunes that takes you to the Nike+ Mobile site rather than NikeRunning.com--but I'd like to address your question here as well. There isn't really an "unlink" option for sensors you've previously linked to a device; that sensor's information is stored in your iPod touch's folders and is ...

one other solution that I use is the ixound headband/hat. (I am a a customer, not a salesman) ball cap or visor or tobaggan, etc that has a slot for an ipod 2 or 3 G. helps with earphone wires too...... might want to check ebay and the like as well... nike even had some long sleeve shirts with a 2g nano slot sewn in on the arm, might try to find some of them.

will not pick up elliptical b/c there are no footstrikes on the elliptical. which is a good thing. If you want to get credit for the elliptical workout on your totals, etc. get one of the programs to create runs on your nano (mentioned elswhere in this forum) write down the elliptical data (speed, distance, time, your weight, etc.) and you can put them in by hand. Garmin ...

Hey BumbleBeeBabies...turn that frown upside down. There are so many great people in the Nike+ community. Just join some challenges that fit your level and then connect in the forums. I joined the nike+ revolution three years and 5000 miles ago and am still going strong! It may be a little tough at first but stick with it and come back here when you need that extra little ...

Hi Paul, Thanks for letting us know you are having problems with the Nikerunning.com website sending your run data to Facebook. To my knowledge, there are no global issues affecting this feature at the moment, so I'd like to have you try a couple of things to see whether you can get your feed up and running again. I'm going to have you first toggle your public profile off...

Hi anonymous Nike+ member, I am guessing you may be looking for the Inside Nike Running training log, which has been on the Inside Nike Running page for a number of years. You can still access it via direct link: http://www.nike.com/trainingtool/v3/web/training_s hell.htm . If you initially encounter problems loading the page, it may be necessary to clear your browser's ...

Thanks for the advice Mikasa. I mainly run on a treadmill, but have begun running outside to prep for the race. I definitely notice that I start off way too fast when not on the treadmill. I do use a Heart Rate monitor, which is a big help to let me know when I am overdoing it. I started running at the first of June this summer. I could not run a 1/2 of mile without ...

Hi staciet2, I see a new run from you after you posted here. Were you able to resolve your login issues? Or did you have to resort to a workaround, like using a different computer? I'm hoping that you ran into some intermittent site issues, and that the error you encountered this morning was a one-off. Please let me know if you continue to encounter problems. Cheers, ...

I am having the same problem. The literature with the band say 90% accurate out of the box but I ran two laps and walked two laps and was told both times I had done about .2km and because it was less than .4 it will not update the calibration data. There should be a manual over ride and the thing should work without the website but who am I to criticize the great Nike I am ...
