There has been a lot of discussion in these forums about the sugar mail client and it would be fair to say that the consensus is that it's too buggy to be of practical use. My advice would be to use a good mail client such as Thunderbird and sync emails up and down using one of the plugins in the Forge

If you only want to move your layouts there is an "Export Customizations" button in Admin->Studio that will create a module you can install on another instance. Then you will have to use the M$ SQL tools to backup and restore the database. M

I believe your database backup is for 5.2.0i version, so you should configure a 5.2.0i for your database. Then consider upgrading it to 5.2.0k. Regarding the amount of data been displayed on sugar, let us know if it gone. Cheers

Yes, it is possible to do that. When you install Sugar, it will prompt you for an address for the installation. You'll want to enter the computer's IP address as seen by the other computers on the network when prompted for that info. Completely agree .. as one who in the past has jumped to conclusions too quickly (usually late at night when the day has had its toll) and had no opportunity to review or amend my comments ...
But, there's a wider problem with the forge:
There's no way of knowing what contributions are active at a glance
There's no way of knowing when contributions were last updated ... at a glance

You do not mention any version information?
If you are running CE which products and quotes modules do you use?
If you are on PRO or ENT you would be better of filing a support case with SugarCRM in the support portal.

There is no survey functionality in SugarCRM ... there are a number of open source products such as phpsurveyor that would do this but they are not currently integrated with sugarcrm

Are you sure you do not have some kind of circular reference in the calls module?
SugarCRM does not run only one query to update a record, it runs queries to retrieve the record, retrieve related beans, update trackers etc. etc.
Turn your logging on and try to see what queries are being run. If you have a logic hook that retrieves other records you may be having a kind of circular ...

I've attached the php info html file (rename to txt to see full html). The PHP version is 5.2.10 and the sugar version is 5.2.0f.
I've tried editing the include/utils/mvc_utils.php above and when I do that it gives me a blank page. So I've reverted the changes.
I've also noticed the log in page is different :
