Even if you know the Destroyer Bio cold, it's still possible to run into questions you haven't seen before. It's a crap shoot, but if you know the destroyer you will make at least a 18. The destroyer prepares you very well for the DAT. The hardest part for me about chemistry was figuring out what the question was asking and what formula to use. It wasn't too difficult, but your brain has to be able to jump around. Destroyer...

DAT achiever
Published (2009-11-06 13:19:00)
DAT achiever is challenging. I used it for sciences, QR and RC the RC on achiever is like the real thing QR is similar too Sciences are tougher than real test. I think if you have time, and have gone through all of topscore, then go for achiever, it's very good for letting you know what area of the test you need to work on. It is important to not get discouraged by achiever, rather use it to constructively assist you in your studies. Good...

If you can get into the needed classes as a non-degree seeking student, there's no downside. The classes will be included in your undergrad GPA calculation anyway. If you are accepted as a 2nd undergrad degree-seeking student, which often gives you preference in the class registration process, med schools will not expect you to complete the degree as they would for a grad student.

I may be biased but I sent a letter to MCW last year around september and received an interview invite in october. I've also sent a lot of letters to UC Irvine and received an invite in march ( better late then never). I think being persistent helps in this process.
Good luck

Quick question about the secondary: under the section about research, it asks to list publications. I am the third author of a manuscript in preparation for publication...should I list this? I thought of checking the "no" box, and writing in the space "manuscript in preparation" followed by the title and authors. Is this appropriate?
Also, in the section about physician shadowing there is a ...

Rent, malpractice insurance, office staff, the fact that "working hours" will generally far exceed the number of actual face-to-face hours you can bill for (i.e. most people are not scheduling a 50 hour week), even if you schedule 30 hours a week, chances are good a substantial portion will not show up, have to cancel, etc., the fact that thanks to our glorious insurance system you may not be ...

I am not opposed to terminal surgeries and I would be OK with being the one doing the euthanasia at the end, but I guess it bothers me a bit when they are recovered, THEN euthanized. I don't have much experience recovering SA (when I shadowed we moved on to the next patient and let the techs recover the animal) patients, but lot of horses look at least somewhat unhappy (groggy, shaking) for a ...
