I figured I'd start this thread as a repository of info about the specific Motorola Droid stuff. My first quibble is that when you use the front screen slider to turn off the ringer there is no option to set it to vibrate. It's either all on or all off. You can use the buttons on the side of the phone when it's unlocked to move it to vibrate only, but that's dumb. I downloaded a widget from market called Rinter Roggle...

Yahoo and google both have message boards. Yahoo's are much more popular, but tend to have a ton of crappy low quality posts, so I prefer to stick with google.
