I appreciate the past discussions on the morals of any bailouts for both mortgage lenders and homeowners. Hi Jing, Sorry I didn't respond to your msg earlier - but yes, outflows from mutual funds for the week ending August 22nd were abnormally high, and one will have to go back to either October 2002 or March 2003 to see higher numbers. Yes, I agree. Probably more of those could be found here in CA rather than anywhere else in the States. Was just reading a Goldman update on crude this morning. FWIW, they're now revising their year-end 2007 forecast for crude from $72 a barrel to $85 a barrel, and expects a modest dip in mid 2008, as OPEC will try to increase production and consumers cut back in the short-run. ...
