Think about how much more capable you want the player characters to get, and how long you expect the game to run, and pace yourself that way. It isn't obviously true that playing a more expensive character is more fun. And even if it were, it's not clear that you ought to withhold fun at the beginning of the game and dribble it out as a reward. Or in other words, it's not given that character points are a reward, and its not...

Well the closest I can get it is like unluckiness, but rather specific. I think it is worth -10 but reading RAW SM1+ does not give this penalty. Although I would say the -10 for access to standard size people stuff is for SM2+

I never thought about it, but that is a weird default.
Do locksmiths actually get trained in detecting and disarming booby-traps? In setting them? I could see a default from demolitions or wilderness survival. In high tech settings Electronics Operation: Security Systems would make sense as defaulting to Lockpicking (or vise versa)
I suspect this is a hold over from some game where ...

I own a Samsung monitor for my computer, which has been with me for several years now, and a Samsung HDTV (only 26", though), which I've had for a year. Both of them function well, and the monitor has proven impressively reliable. I encourage you to look at what they have available. They're not cheap, but paying for good quality is cheaper in the long run, I think.
The HDTV has an impressive ...

IDHMBWM, but I would have thought Indomitable would provide immunity to mundane (skill-based) brainwashing efforts. If there's a note in the text saying it doesn't, then the canonical way to get around that would be to take Cosmic: Rule-exemption (+50%).

She remembered the various readings they'd done, she'd seen it mostly as a way to spend time with her brother and to do something with a Chinese connection like her parents kept encouraging. They'd never been as clear or literal as this, still who could argue with the presentation of a dream.
Obviously she was intended to read, so she concentrated on one of the clear stories to find out what...

Re: [DF] Suitable Dangerous Encounters
You can use the probability chart on B171 to adjust your party's adversaries to an appropriate level. Generally speaking, you want to make your bad guys a threat, but not overwhelming, so adjust their skill levels to match.
In general terms, skill 12 is the absolute minimum for a ...

I can't help but think that such supers would "disappear."
The secret service learns that there is someone who mind control? Sniper.
The NSA learns that there is someone who can break any code by talking to computers? Sniper.
Anybody else? MAYBE captured. Maybe snipered.
Maybe I'm just in a black helicopter mood today.
