Sorry but I this is going to sound rude, but start again!! The pages are too wide for smaller screens, So I have to scroll right to view the page, that is a huge no-no. The background colours/graphics are two different colours/graphics The menu is clunky, there are manny other free to use menus on the internet, The page scrolling down (scrolling down using your drowser) is fine(ish) but then there is a scroll on the actual page as well. in recent weeks I have found two websites making unauthorised use of images they have copied from one of my sites. The first was a local football club who have apologised and removed the image and also offered me a free half page ad in their next home match program as a way of compensating me for the use in a way that doesn’t cost them money as they have no funds. This was great and I scrapped the invoice I sent them and wished them well....

VAT registrations can take a while to come through now, though you can trade as if you are regitered in anticipation of the VAT number coming. I can recommend Abbey for a business bank account as its free under reasonable transaction limits. I think A&L also is free without limits. Hi Nigel We offer telesales and we wouldn't agree to do it in the way you are suggesting because this would involve: Sourcing leads - I could get you 6 billion leads but they might be utterly rubbish. You also might have given me entirely the wrong target market definition so I might be chasing the wrong people to make a sale. And if you don't know who the market for your product is, how on earth do you expect someone else to?...

In our experience outsourcing any part of the process degrades the quality of the product to the client.
I can be cheaper but when you do everything in house you can provide a much faster and richer service.
Depends on the segment of the market you are going for really.

Once you've decided that being a limited company is the right thing you can set one up very quickly ie - in a day. Once you've done that you'll need to sort out a bank account, stationery etc and possibly VAT registration. It's these other things that often seem to take longer. The problem with generating money from websites is that you need to traffic first.
You'll need it to charge for advertising, you'll need it to charge for interactive content, and you'll need it to market whatever it is you are selling (be that webspace, products or services).
