If charter schools are so great, why do they pay their teachers less than the "other" public schools and why do they ban unions? Certainly someone other than the (self-selecting) students should benefit. I mean other than those bureaucrats who set up these schools and appoint themselves as administrators. I belive that the taks test is a great idea. What better way to show how well the students are doing than to test them over all the basic things they learned over the year? I'm in the 11th grade at the moment and sure the taks test may be a little stressful. But School is a stressful place is it not? if they just took the money and gave it to poor students to go to college..... Teaching teachers how the SAT works ???....I'd think most teachers would know about SAT.. How many other ex-school employees benefit from this?? Columbus State, OSU couldn't handle this??
