One of the nicest coach gifts I ever got was a clipboard that was engraved with the names of all the players on the team. It just said "Thank you coach," the team name, the year, and the players' names. I received that 7 years ago and still use it, and think fondly of the kids who gave it to me. I have searched the web as I am also interested in South African racing but all in vain. I am sure that there must be somewhere that they put the runners on the web but where is another story. Sorry no help. It is easier to find racing in Dubai where there are now a number of ex S.A. trainers.

Did a quick google search and came up with this link: http://skicentral.com/mammoth.html About halfway down the page is a list of local ski clubs in the LA area. You might check with them. One group in particular (www.slopesurfers.org) has weekend bus trips to Mammoth.

Ofc it is ridiculous, blood is part of entertainment. If kids aren't supposed to see blood, then they aren't supposed to see some person getting electrified or falling on a table! Blood always add a taste to the match, at least in my opinion.
