He was a really good color guy before he ran the Lions into the ground. If I remember right, he was expected to take over for Madden when he left. Still doesn't make me hate him any less though. It was rough listening to his dumb ass during the already frustrating UM/OSU game over the weekend.

I felt like the Carp was the best pitcher in the NL this year. The numbers he put up after missing a month of the season were unbelievable. Yeah Wainwright put up unbelievable numbers himself and didn't miss any time but Carp just seemed to separate himself, especially with that 10-1 second half.
