I have a feeling this article is too focused on the negatives and not the positives. The Korean government has set up some 130 cultural centers through out Korea to assist foreigners. I have seen too many Korean tv programs sympathetic to the views and experience of foreigners to believe in the negatives. My own experience with my daughter who is half K half J is that most Koreans see her half J as very unique and most Japanese see her half K...

I read all about Kim Jong II--he keeps pretty concubines til they're 21, and then marries them off.(Most of their husbands have no clue about their pasts.)
