I got my license at 16 and I that is still the law here so I guessed that would be it in California. Still, a bit of an unfair question that would be heavily biased in favor of a teenager who lives in California.

You are very welcome, kerryok5 and jaynee. I'm glad I could be of help. Also, thank you for all the information, kerryok5. I always find posts here made by members to be very interesting, even if I didn't ask the question or have the problem. Before I got my new computer, I had a tremendous amount of "glitches" with the Sony site. It seems a bit better now, but I do clear my cache, deleting my temp files more often than I...

Hello, and welcome to the third Guesstimania-style quiz. Soon after Vanya posted the first version, I thought a variation using date estimation would be interesting (kind of a cross between Guesstimania and Chronology, but you don't need to put anything in order here - I'll leave that as an exercise for a future quizmaster ).
I apologize for the misleading thread title - it was the catchiest ...

Three things:
1. Todd really knew how to use that Free Play!
2. Isn't "Baby Ducklings" redundant? They're duck ling s, so by definition, they are babies. It's like saying "Church hymn" Ā oh wait, they've used that too.
3. Somehow I knew Todd would pull a last-minute rally. Even before Pat hit the 5K.

The names and numbers look good.
2001:
$2,400 (Lan Djang)
$1,599 (Michelle Clum)
2003:
$0 (Max Levaren 7600-7600=0)
$0 (Mark Lee 7400-7400=0)
That TOC included Eric Floyd as a WC with 9000-9000=0.
Missing the cut:
Ben Tritle 6400-6400=0
Kyle Hale 5300-5300=0
Jackie Harrison 2600-2600=0
And two players at minus scores before FJ.

In putting these questions together, I did notice a surprising incorrect answer or two, but no trapping is intended. Life is full of surprises, even in Think Different. Two of the questions will be visual, and I will post them last, to give myself more time to figure out how. To preserve a bit of flow, I answer the less obvious/more nitpicky questions at the bottom of the page. Of course, there ...

Have the articles on the other quiz bowl question providers been deleted as
well, or is this just another example of Wikipedia editors being incredibly
dense and stupid?

Big hair, parachute pants, Reaganomics, and MTV. The 1980s are backāfor one week only!
Below are memorable and/or representative quotes from 12 different movies, all of which were initially released between January 1, 1980 and December 31, 1989. Those of you old enough to have owned a copy of "Thriller" on vinyl may have an advantage in this round of Chronology, yet not one of the films on ...
