I bought a used Ruger Red Label 12 Gauge with supposedly only 250 rounds fired through it. The gun was new in 2004. The gun was in mint condition at the store. On my first outing the darn ejectors only work periodically and now I get home today and found a small hairline crack on the forearm. Has anyone experienced similar issues with the Red Label? I read some time ago that transporting a shotgun that has been assembled (ie barrels + forend + action and stock all together ready to shoot) leads to premature loosening of the barrels/action connection. When I bought a K80 in the early 80s it came in a padded canvas, full assembled length, Krieghoff bag that suggested to me that transporting the gun assembled might be no problem....

I am reloading .410 cases using Hodgdon H110 and am using a home made aluminium powder scoop but I find that sometimes the powder has a tendency to stick to the scoop, almost like static is holding it there.
